Default The Dark Tower is here! The Dark Tower is here!

WOOHOOOO!!! I went to the Columbia Borders today to pick up Finding Nemo, and as I walked in, my jaw dropped! There stood before me the most wonderful thing I've seen in almost 5 years. The Dark Tower V, Wolves of the Calla! The next 2 are scheduled for release in 2004!

IT WILL BE DONE! FINALLY!

If you don't have a clue as to what I speak of, it's ok... I'm just insane. For those that DO know, I'm sure you are all as happy as I am!

this was my first reaction

I thought for a moment you were talking about some Animé cartoons or some book of Haikus or something...

Then it clicked. If you're not talking about the Stephen King novel, then ignore the rest here.

The first book (dark tower), I thought was real good, then it bogged down a little in the second (drawing of the three?). Then I figured, what the heck, might as well read the next one ( at this point I don't know what they're called anymore) . that one was OK, but sometimes it really drags on, though.
Tell you what I really liked: The Stand , that was really good. Gave me nightmares

Actually, it'd be The Gunslinger, The Drawing of Three, The Waste Lands, Wizard and Glass. And now Wolves of the Calla, Song of Susannah, and the final book, The Dark Tower.

Movie is hilarious

I have all the Disney movies on DVD. I grew up with alot of them and would like the movies so in the future my kids can watch them or I can watch them again.

You dont have to be a kid to enjoy Disney films.....Now if he said "I went to the Columbia Borders to get The new veggie tales movie" id say dude you have too much gh3y

Got a new job babysitting? Or are you trying to impress a girl with your sensitive side?

Everything Pixar has done has been amusing for both kids and adults... (I make no claims about the rest of Disney's stuff)

Thats cool,
I read the first two books I think and then lost interest waiting for the rest to come out (I read a book like that in 2 days). I don't remember much about the books at this point, but I remember that weird scene were a dude wakes up on a beach with these carniverous crab things, spooky.

Ah yes, the lobstrosities. And I believe there are on Blaine at the end of book 2, and about to start the riddle game. So you need to read book 3 and 4. Just so you know, book 4 is a bit different. It goes back in time and explains how Roland got to where he is today. 4 was actually the first book I read, and it so intrigued me to read the first 3.

Four "Wizard in Glass" was a good book to pick up and read and not be too lost as far as story line. I first picked up the 1st book in the series over 10 years ago and being hooked from day 1.
I still cant believe he will retire from writting next year after the final dark tower book is finished. I have grown up reading everything King has written . Its the end of an era........

He's not retiring. Go to Amazon.com and read the interview with him. Those were not his words. Well, I'm not getting into it here.. just read the interview. It explains it far better than I could.
