Default First annual MWIC Summer BBQ / camp out July 12th 2003

First annual MWIC Summer BBQ / camp out July 12th 2003

When: July 12th 2003

Where: Codean’s house in Burlington Wisconsin

Why there?: With the increasing number of members it is hard to find a place that is large enough to accommodate everyone

Details:

40 acres of land with plenty of space to park 60+ cars if need be.
Large pond stocked with Large mouth bass and bluegill (catch and release)
Tennis court
Indoor area with enough room to work on two cars ( If I clean it out)
4 bbq grills

Bring your own grill foods, buns and alcohol

Chips, soda and condiments will be provided.

If you would like to bring a dish to pass around that would be great also.

If you would like to camp out over night that would be great. Many people have already expressed interest in this. I can also setup a large bon fire if interested. I have some room for people indoors if they prefer to stay inside. I’ll post some pictures of the area when it get a little greener outside.

If anyone has any ideas or anything they want to bring to make the day more enjoyable please feel free to say something. If you guys would like to set up a paintball game on the back 20 acres that would be fine with me too.

Please post if you would like to make attendance and If you are camping over night so I can make a list to have a better idea of what to expect.

If you are willing to help out by coming out early or the day before, pm me.

I’ve been looking into the rally x idea but it would involve a lot of work so I don't think it will happen, unless someone will let me barrow a front end loader for a week.

Yeah, what Phil said on the setup thing. Thats the weekend right between my two July trips, so its perfect.

I've actually got a paintball gun now, so that works too!

Not so sure my wife would approve of this.

Sounds like a great time! Thanks for organizing everything Cody!!
