2009 sti rotated gt3582
Update: the car didnt make quite as much power as i would have liked due to it not having equal length header and having stock heads. It put down 440whp and 417wtq on 93 oct, 505whp and 472wtq on 110oct. i will try to get the plots up tomorrow. i cant be happier with the drivability of the car after eric's tune. The guys at covert tuning dynamics really know their stuff.
Power Internals- new oem case halves, acl bearings, nitrated crank, eagle rods, weisco pistons, arp headstuds and rod bolts, -grimmspeed intake manifold -perrin rotated 35r kit -1000cc injectors -perrin fuel rails -grimmspeed heads and crosspipe -gfb bov -cobb accessport -tgv deletes -perrin lightened pulley -cosworth air pump deletes -walbro 255 fp -44mm ewg -cnt catback Parts i have but not installed for power yet -1300cc injectors -walbro 400lph fp -4 bar map sensor -6 supply lines -aeromotive fp regulator Interior -aem wideband -glowshift boost guage(getting rid of this junk) -Perrin shift knob Drivetrain - Competition Stage 4 (6 Puck) - Project Kics R40's Neo Chrome Lock Set - Perrin Subframe Lockdown Kit - Hub Centric Rings Suspension/Wheels -BC coilovers -Evo 10 enkei's with 18/235 all seasons (winter mode) The car is currently making 430whp on 42 autosports mustang dyno. hoping to be in the 5xxwhp rang after the upgrades and tune on covert tuning dynamics dynojet. I will probably be getting tuned in 3 weeks or so. Eventually the car will get cams/ported heads and a gtx35r to see what it can really do. Here are some pics, enjoy

Nice build nice car!!! Il consider either upgrading the turbo to an hta82 or hta86 thru forced performance.

i have been reading a lot about the gtx turbo's and im dead set on one. i dont think the hta would outperform it honestly. If it does let me know because i want the best i can get for it that would be drop in replacement.

thats my buddies r32 gtr, pretty much stock right now but we are mapping out a nasty build with a single precision 6776 for it.
on pump? this is my dd so it will only be on pump. i dont want to be over 575whp or so due to the block not being sleeved. |

Very nice. You should have went with a 30r. You would have made over 600hp lol. J/k. Nice numbers and mods.

I was thinking about doing a gtx30r because my car would hit full boost at 5k, but now it hits full boost at 4400 and it will hit it even sooner with cams. Thats not too loaggy for my and i should be able to make more power with this with heads and equals than a gtx30. i know it could be close but this turbo will have more top end as well... if i go to a gtx turbo it will be a gtx3582.

You have a beautiful looking car. Those number aren't bad just seem on the lower side for a 35r. Maybe slap some meth on there and put that turbo to work a little more

That can be true especially if they are big duration 280+ and if they are not matched well to the turbo. If they are matched up well and everything is balanced out well they can help spool. My XTI with 264 Kelford's spools my Dom 3.5XTR like its a VF. I am going to overlay my current build with the Dom 3.5XTR over my stock EJ255 with the VF48 and I'll bet the stock build curve will fit almost completely inside the current build!
