I've seen that vid before, i mean Vinney did not just start tuning yesterday. Though it was tuned at his shop, did HE tune it?

I cant imagine tuning a subaru is any different than anyother vehicle, especially as long as he has been in the game.

Dude that tried to tell me that subaru motor ant a supra motor Once again did Vinny tune it himself or some other dude?

Eventhough Vinny and his employees are one in the same in context of the shop.........................i really want to know if Vinny tuned it himself.

We also know other people on this forum who have took there cars to other people after vtr tunes. But.... This happens to every shop and every tuner so who cares. I would not bring my Wrx to a supra or rx7 tuner. I would bring it too a Subaru tuner with more years tuning SUBARUs. Hell my brothers tune Toyota etc with Motec and own a dyno. You see me there tunning my Subaru ? Nope. I stayed with a Subaru only tuner and have Never got a bad tune in my 11 years. This is one kid with a big mouth giving a shop a bad name.

Vinny is the only tuner in his shop I know that from first hand experience with my WRX. I'm not bashing Vinny at all, but I did the. take my car to a different shop and my car feels 100x better. my car was constantly knocking, pulling timing and my injectors were maxed out. Could've just been my car, who knows. I won't bash Vinny he's a great guy who really makes you feel at home in his shop. but I won't have my Subaru tuned there. doesn't mean I'm gonna tell everyone I know with a supra to go get tuned where I did, I would suggest them to Vinny. he even does good tunes on evos too. but anyone who knows a subaru knows that throwing piles of boost and leaning the crap out of the car isn't what these cars want.

Capabilities of a stock turbo car with a reputable tuner:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2424740

I went 12.0 on pump gas with street tires, full interior, and a stock clutch when the power levels were @327HP/358TQ

Trying to go 11's in the spring with 93 octane

About 4yrs ago I was in the market for a gc, I saw a nice L coupe with the driver in it, so I asked him about it, he popped the hood and claimed it to have a Mitsubishi motor
:fail:
It had the normal boxer motor. I just walked away...

Tuning a Subaru is very different from tuning most other cars. The ECU's are a lot more finicky and the engines are more fragile than a lot of other platforms. You really have to know what you're doing to get good, consistent, and safe results.

I'm curious why people automatically slam the tuner/dyno plot, and not the driver. I know neither of them and am not making an argument towards either, I could care less...just making an observation. We all know with the OP's mods he should be running much quicker anyway...

yeah let me just update this whole tread, this is my car. if any of you where knew what u were talking about u would know what was wrong, my fuel pump was the problem, installed a 255 and made same power on 3 less psi, that being said my injectors where on 80% duty cycle. i will be going back for a retune in a few days. i wont be telling anyone my number but just know this dyno reads right not high or low. and boost will be cranked up to 19-20. Keep hating kids keep hating. what "they" say is irrelevant to what can actually be done. the best tuning tool is experience and your brain.

I don't know what "hating" means on forums, people say it a lot...

I think people are saying those numbers are grossly inflated based on your 1/4 time and trap speed. It should be faster, simple as that. Many are dogging on your numbers because thats what the internet people do But it doesn't change the fact that your power numbers do not correlate with 1/4 times and trap speed.

But when you use "hater" you are just feeding the fire.
