Default Fuel Pump Voltage Controller Bypass Mod???

I'm thinking about bypassing the variable fuel pump voltage controller. I don't think the Walbro is as responsive or in other words I think the flow rate of the walbro at the reduced voltage during closed loop ops is not as stable as the factory denso pump or a better quality pump like the AVO. I know in all my past import cars i have bypassed the voltage reduction circuit to ease tuning. Currently i'm seeing irratic A/F's during closed loop ops. Sometimes i'll be cruising and the car starts leaning out outta nowhere. I blip the trottle and presto and then it's a random when it returns. I don't think the walbro likes the reduced voltage at all. Anyone have any reason why I should not bypass the controller? Anyone done it yet or know a thread on this? thanks, stephen.
