I thought they stopped making the 52? I have heard good things about the Blouch's but don't like the damn near 2k price tag. I'll see If I can have the 8cm hotside put on with a clipped wheel. It will pretty much be a new turbo at that point... have no idea how much more it would flow tho. I want to put 450 down on 100 octane... close to 500 on C16.

Yes on a 2.0l.
I don't see why not. I have ported heads with bigger valves and enormous cams. There is no restriction there. What else would stop me from making that power? I know it will come late, if it comes at all, but I also have 8.5k+ rpm to work with. On top of that, I have pretty long gears that increase load on the motor which should help spool. |

Wow been a while since I have been here!
Anyway this is an interesting thread to me cause I am one of those 2.0 people. Although I am not even close to his HP I got over 400 on a Spec-C engine and the thing that pissed me off the most was I pulled better ET's with it when I had the stock VF30 on it I did manage to break both back axles with the stock clutch pulling 1.7 60's but my best time was a [email protected]([email protected] Green) with a 6 MT and no 5th gear because of a hurt syncro. I did try an Exedy clutch and that was the biggest waste of money cause they don't hold squat for power So I went with the Tilton twin disc and it holds like you can't believe. However I have ESX's old rear axles from the Driveshaft shop in my car now so I don't fear snapping them again. I'm just waiting to get my JDM 6MT rebuilt and then attempting some passes |

congrats im happy to see that im not alone in this world another true beliver of the ej 205 , are you bone stock internals ? because if you are its not that i dont belive you , because I do , its just that you are brave and I like that , if its well tune it wont break trust me i run a ej205 forged(rods and pistons) , stock valve train and heads w a sti 6mt and a gt 35 r , tuned by gadiel , i dynoed last week 413whp on 93oct and 504whp 116 oct and did spray it with 75 wet shot and the car still runing , we had troubles with the system but never the less it bumped the whp to 558whp , so it received some juice, the interesting part was that there was no turbo lag there! last but not least my car is also white buged eyed
we went to the track , but the nos was not working properly , we ran several passes ranging from 11.3 to 11.4 @124mph with ****y 1.7 ! Last edited by hectowrx; 08-08-2007 at 10:42 PM. |

I need cams ,springs and retainers so bad ,its not even funny ,if I could rev the car to 8000rpms Gadiel easy could make 550whp plus all boost...power band is too short but priceless... pulls very hard it even switch lanes in the highway and you hardly notice ...hope to fix all bugs on the NOS so my power band gets broader... if NOS gets fixed tuning next week , keep you posted

man, now I'm really tempted to slap my 35r on my bone stock EJ205 with my meth and let it eat...until my new motor is finally done...still waiting on custom rods and pistons
but doesn't mean I shouldn't have fun in the mean time...oh and its a .82 so I'll have just a little lag |

75 nex ! but i havent been able to do a full pass w NOS @ the track , all my previous times are all boost , complete car , ac, p/s , radio/ all seats interiors etc.
I tried to do a pass with the system but after the 1/8 the car held back and was very rich , we think the nos selenoid gave up on us , never the less it made 11.3 Last edited by hectowrx; 08-12-2007 at 09:02 PM. |

HOLY CRAP!!! that is the most impressive dynoplot i have ever seen for a STOCK EJ205... anyone wanna make bets on how long this thing lasts before the block grenades itself? I'll give it a few passes down the quarter before its on a flatbed back to the shop... This really impresses me that the stock 205 block is that stout... must be really a blast to drive! Props andrewtech you guys do some amazing work!
