I had both done at the same time. I know it looks like they have three inches of stuff wrapped around you leg right now but dude, that's all your knee!
Good luck man! |

Whew, back awake now....those things knock me out!
Yes, it was a scope on my left knee to repair a torn medial meniscus. I am walking (walked out of the hospital about an hour after the surgury!). I can't wait for it to be good enough to drive my car again, I've been driving the wifey's AT foz and really miss the manual! |

Good luck and a speedy recovery!
At least you won't have to worry about injuring it more by having to shovel snow. |

Can't share the meds...they only gave me 40 perks and 25 vics!
They pulled my wrap off this morning...found out they had shaved half my leg! That looks great, now I'm gonna have to shave the other one so it looks symetrical. Saw the pics from inside my knee, the meniscus had completly broken, snapped back and folded over on it self and was being pinched every time I put pressure on it. No wonder it was so damn painful! I've got some minor cartlidge damage in there too...hopefully that doesn't limit my movement to much...the next hockey season starts March 7th. |

I was walking on it 40 minutes after I woke up in the recovery room. Now I'd say it's got about 90% of it's flexability back and 75% of it's strength. I've been riding my bike every other day and have skated on it twice already. New hockey season starts with a practice this Saturday...I don't figure I'll be ready to actually play for another few weeks. |
