I sent you an e-mail.

Stopped by the NF shop tonight and 3G hatches were popular!

First there was one...

And now two...

And a red one appeared...

White 2011 stopping by for some work...

And then a red 2011...

Here's a quick exhaust video:

It's a COBB catback with the 2.5" flange cut off and a flat 3" flange welded on.

Rotella T6 5W-40 is all I've used in my car. Much better than Mobil 1 5W-30 or similar. Doesn't break down as quickly.

Each box is 3 gallons. A local guy sells them once on a while. Normally it's about $22/gal at WalMart.

It's so hilarious how his car looks basically stock minus the fmic. I'd hate to be the car that pulls up to him wanting some LOL. In for a shock haha.

Have you ever had anyone try to race you? Just out of curiosity.

I also have tint. I'm getting too flashy...

I get very few interest on the street. A couple times I've had a Honda/Acura/VW pull up next to me but I'm pretty sure they were all probably under 200WHP judging by how things went ....

I disagree. I think you just the perfect amount of flash. Can't wait to see it with the RPF-1's

The 5 speed has a viscous center diff. It is not electrically controlled. It is all mechanical. So you cannot use a controller.

Thanks! I think the RPF1's will change the look a bit come summer. If they had OEM look 17x9's that were light, I would buy those!

xluben,

First, beautiful car! Your modification choices are prescient and nicely implemented. But I was wondering, if this is your daily driver what do you drive when the WRX is in the shop being upgraded? Or is NF just that good so they have a major update done in 1-2 working days? Or are you fortunate enough not to need the WRX on a day to day basis so that a few days in the shop is painless?

I am just wondering if I should keep my current commuter car as a backup while the STI is in the shop for a several day stretch.

I know volks are very pricey, but I think some 17x9 ce28ns would be very stock looking painted in a similar color to stock.

This is my daily driver. I drove my wife's Civic and my mom's minivan while I was working on my car. If you have the money to get things done preemptively you can minimize downtime but there will still be some. I would highly recommend having a backup car if you want to take your car to this level.

Are those what the Rota DPT's are based on? Looks OK but I'm not a big fan of lips like that. Although it's not something I'm totally opposed to.
