Default How badly do lowering spring screw up the ackerman angles?

I can't seem to find much info on this. How much do aftermarket springs (lowering about 1.0-1.5 inch) affect ackerman?

Will it cause bad scrubbing or unstable turns, etc?

I'm not sure what kind of Ackerman angles the Impreza uses, but the kind of lowering you're talking about with proper alignment will not result in an unstable car.

.....springs of that drop don't mess up toe too much, usually....an ALK, which I really like, will alter toe a good bit and require adjustement of toe for a good alignment.

ackerman angle isn't even mentioned in the FSM, AFAIK.

Doesn't affect Ackerman, affects toe - adjust toe back to zero and you're set.
