I am only responding to personal attacks, I know its silly but its a defense. I never said you were 100 percent at fault but you have no legal recourse
I did ask questions, as ABS was very important to me. They told me it had abs repeatedly. Now I can also guarantee you that my sales person had no clue what an ABS pump looks like, and that many cars that have ABS don't have the ABS light that comes on when you first start the car. The only way I found out it didn't have abs is when I tested the brakes. Now I coud've looked for the ABS fuse etc. BUT THAT is NOT the POINT!

Lets take the extreme of the situation... suppose they told me it was a V6 and I realised later that it was a I-4. I am not legally obligated to distinguish cylinders in the engine bay much less an ABS pump. If it was represented to me that the car had something it didn't - END OF STORY, dealership is liable for making it right. You want to know how I know about that- BECAUSE I TALKED TO A LAWYER and he confirmed everything I and most people said and agreed with me that your are on crack! The dealership has been notified and now they have admitted that they are obligated to find me a car with ABS. Now for the token OT pic:

That's absurd, do you look for every single claimed option when you buy a car? Most people aren't mechanically inclined enough to do that anyway.

That's not even really the point though, they claimed it was on there, it's not, so now he has the right to recourse.

thats like saying this car isn't 20 thou? thats what the ad says meanwhile they didn't read the stock number plain as day on the top of the ad!
wow i never noticed how much of a piss ant you are. lets replay this. this man not only printed out the Advertisement that stated the car had the feature he want, he requested mutilple times verbally, as well as had the dealership commit insurance fraud (Lower Rates) and you are coming down on him?? Do you have any friends or are you just a walking neanderthal who bashes everyone who walks by in hopes of appearing dominent and superior. Your opinion is fine and dandy but your points, your analogies, and you mocking attitude reeks of the lonely existance of one who only gains attention by making a a@@ out of himself

lol.....

actually shipjumper and ineedapurpleone do make a valid point... if abs was sooooooo freaking important to him why the fo0q did he not verify the dealers claim of the vehicle having abs????hrmmmmmmmmmmm????

blah blah blah dealers fualt

blah blah blah abs important

blah blah dealer lied when he told me i could fly if i jumped off a cliff

blah blah i went splat so dealer is legally liable

fish...plzzzzzz

sure the dealer lied..but who is at fault?

him for lying or you for not catching the lie?

i also agree with janq about caveat emptor.

and now to being helpful... i would suggest making all your further contacts with the dealership be either thru your attorney and/or in writting. Request that the vehicles abs be checked out cuz you think its defective and if by some miracle it just happens to not have abs well darn it all you paid for an abs car which the dealer represented as having so they better deliver else the deal is not to your satisfacton and requires remedy. ask either for a refund or a replacement. inform your lender and make them aware that the security for their loan was misrepresented and that tis may entail some sort of fraud on behalf of the dealership (think of the old switcheroo trick.advertise one thing and sell another).... careful... this will really raise a stink. in short seek legal advice from a bar certified lawyer (not t3h OT), document all contact with dealership concerning this matter, try to come to some agreement with the dealership in which you get total satisfaction ( i mean after all you just wanted a mazda-6 with abs right?), or your money back, live and learn, take pics, ???, Prophet!!!

hope it all worksout...

my what an innocent world we all live in.
