Solo II Sway Bar?
I remember seeing awhile back a website with a sway bar for use in Solo II. I can't find it now. Was this misinformation? Does anyone know what website it was? I don't remember any specifics about it.

Call rallispec or email them off their website www.rallispec.com
They have the full selection of Whiteline adjustable swaybars. And Im sure they can get you a front sway bar if you wanted to stay in stock class. Rear swaybars are not legal in stock class, only front ones. Of course you could get a rear and run STS. Maybe a 2K Solo2 rule book from www.scca.org would be a good investment too. Rear swaybars are legal in stock class, but only the factory original stock swaybar and only if it was available on that particular model, that particular model year. No updating/backdating allowed.

I thought updating/backdating was allowed for all classes.... or is it just allowed for STS? Not that I've ever run (or ever will) a stock class. Those people are way too fast.

No update/backdate in stock class. Get a rulebook! Or read 'em online.

For all of you who demand a GREAT rear sway bar, SPO Motorsports just released their new adjustable rear sway bar. It is made out of a much stronger material than the previous one. We have tested and we must say that it is a must buy, at the same time USE WITH CAUTION as this bar when set in it's strongest position it will break the rear end lose in a hurry if you are not an experience driver.
You will find your self going through turns much faster than you were used to. And finally those understeering problems are gone!!!! It is our feeling that this is the bar to get since it allows you to learn your way from unexperienced to a much experienced driver. Why buy just a bar and then the links so you'll have to get the brackets later anyway. This bar is an assembly and has been redesigned so it fits perfect. Ther is no clearing issues and it fits like a glove. This is what Miguel Alcrudo from Auto Plaza Racing Team in a letter to SPO Motorsports had to say: "This swaybar fitted perfectly even better than the previous 21mm swaybar that we bought from you, it has a perfect clearence all over the bar". "In terms of performance we tried it on the STRONGEST POINT. The car improved dramaticly on performance, you could easely notice the difference on sharpness and how does it turn quickly on any kind of turns." "My point of view is that i liked it pretty much, no matter that your running at a point with no margin for errors." "I really have to thank you for all your help and for the next race we will be much better". They are available now through SPO Motorsports. Thanks, Efrain N. Alers Nativo Performance |

I hate to post a negative post here but flame suit is on.
You CAN get all the oversteer you want from the stock bar with AGX's ONLY aa well as toe and camber settings. I too did not believe it, until I spent a day in Chris F's car at the Autox. His car throttle steer a LOT easier than mine did with a 20mm bar in the rear. The only diferance between our cars as far as suspention goes is the 20 mm bar in the back and the toe and camber settings.... just my2c... Andre |

I did change my original rear sway bar for a 18 mm one. I just add Whiteline links to the rear sway and front. That gives you a faster control with the direction... Suggest you to do that mods.. before changing your suspension.. You will see a big difference with that. But you will have to change to STS Class..
The new Moffa aluminium links could be also a good choice. Check in the Ads bulletin board. Jim |

8Complex, I caught your comment about stock class drivers being too fast. Are you serious or just talking "smack?"
