Heading to Stevens tomorrow to do some hiking. Haven't been on a board since Springfest, I'm stoked!
Will post pictures later this weekend

Awesome to be riding in may. Today we hiked up chief, up double diamond and went across the ridge until we found a good spot to build a little jump. snow is wet but there is a ton of coverage. Almost no bare spots on main runs

More pictures coming tonight when I get home

I've never been there but that seems weird. I thought the days of skier only mountains were in the past.

edit - it's one of those satire articles. I've been had!

I can't wait to participate in this thread for real. Jealous of the almost-summer shred.

I totally didn't see this post, but it was good to run into you on the hill. We left at 2 and had lunch in Enumclaw at Rainier grill.

Great way to send out the season. No riding photos, but here's a show of how awesome the weather was. I've got a nice tan/burn ready to go for a job interview tomorrow.

Im 6'3 250 lbs, I mostly ride powder/backcountry, rarely ride park and I'm looking for a new board and bindings. I'm really liking the lib tech skunk ape hp, would the burton genesis bindings match well with the board? Anybody on here use either of the two?

Thanks

This winter is dead (unless you're riding hood, then screw you)

Long live the '14/'15 winter (and its new NWIC snowboard thread):

(I also copied over the question about the genesis bindings...)

Just moved to the area, stationed at whidbey island, looking for some advice on which place to get a season pass at this year? Pretty much between Stevens, summit, or mt baker? Mt baker is looking crazy expensive so leaning more to Stevens or summit, which one would you guys go with?

Really? Last Christmas I bought my brother a trice, as he absolutely loves it and the thing rips. Around 20 visits using the board and he had no complaints

Look in previous posts- I rode a attack banana barely 3 times before it snapped- ill stand behind the lib sucks and are heavy as hell. I've rode a Rossi for two years and just rape on it, also my other favorite is K2 as well. I've had 4- K2's 3- mervins and 1- Rossi so my opinion is far from bias as I was a lib fan boy from the start.

Love my Mervins. At Bachelor they are 2/3's of the boards you see. Assuming it's the same in WA. I've had my Carbon Credit for 3+ seasons and it's still in great shape. It has over 100 days on it. Love my T-Rice too. My friend has broken a Lib before. He just sent it back to Backcountry and they sent him a new one.

For a bigger guy I would absolutely recommend the Skunk Ape. Throw some Union bindings on it and it will be plenty light.
