Well I basically had enough of the guessing game and decided to go right to the source. I called NORAD (the processing facility at the port) and dialed a random employee's extension from the phone directory and interrogated her for information. I got what I was looking for, the next boat load of Subarus isn't due in till early-mid November and it is on the LEO LEADER ship.. Right now the ship is about halfway between Hawaii and the next port destination in Mexico. This now puts my estimated pickup of my WRX at the 15-16 week mark. If you would like to track it yourself here ya go, enjoy

Got this from a similar order thread on Club WRX. I don't know how accurate the statement is but the site is interesting if your killing time.

From my personal experience and what JustyWRC has said previously, "shipped truck" is a solid indication that ish just got real and you'll see your car within a day or so. Mine was shipped truck in the morning and sitting pretty at my dealer that afternoon.

My pre-congrats, alexw! Congrats to you as well leurw! We finally made it!!!

I'm going in at 5:15p today (straight from work). My nerves are shot. I can't sit still, let alone focus.

Dang base on that statement I probably won't get my car until december or january. There are so many 2013 on lot from my dealer but none of them are hatchback =( There's even a CBS STI limited.

More pics please!

I'm planning on ordering the same thing basically. Nav, SPT exhaust, short throw shifter. I test drove a Black STI with Nav a couple of weeks ago and was pretty happy with the nav system. It took everything I had not to buy it on the spot, but I need to take care of a couple of things financially first and also I really love the Plasma Blue. Hoping to place my order in the next 3 or 4 weeks...

Playing Devil's advocate... not worth the wait when you can get a better nav unit aftermarket for cheaper.

Ordered mine in August, still have a December date

Although, the dealer said they are re-doing their stock allocation this weekend and seeing if they can grab one, still up in the air though.

Yes, and we did it for every manufacturer that sells in the US. I believe the EPA requires all cars sold here to be 50 state compliant. This dates back pretty far as my 1991 C4 also states California Emissions compliant.

BAH. Stopped by at lunch to snag a photo. Picking up at 430. There goes my productivity for the afternoon...

Even now; worth the wait.

CBS Premium WRX, side moldings, STS, AW mats, red footwell illumination, armrest extension.

How was your experience with Heuberger? I'm thinking of going with them since I live in the Springs, but haven't really been impressed with them the times I have shown up and looked around and mentioned that I was going to be ordering in a couple months.

Just spoke with SOA and my order is processed and accepted, he said they havent assigned a VIN but might soon. This seems like a stretch considering I ordered it on 10/5. He is thinking a rough ETA of Dec. or Jan, which sucks but what can ya do. Might call my dealer and see if he can find one at a dealer thats somewhat close by.

I am going to take better pictures tomorrow! I promise. The Dark Gray Metallic looks so ****ing sexy let me tell you!

By the way I was originally scheduled to pick up on 10/8 but ran into some problems with my credit union, so ultimately ended up with Harris bank. Any update on the 10/8(10/15) delivery group photo!?

Pic as promised.

Something I experienced today was an accumulation of leaves, which leaves (no pun intended ) me wanting some Mudflaps. $150 is a bit pricey for me, any other suggestions besides rally armor? And any idea how much they are to install? I'm also looking for a winter tire set for my baby, so holla of you got 'em!

I also parked her within view from my office window, and haven't stopped peeking through the blinds all day!!!

They were great. Did the deal over the phone and e-mail. Was a really simple process and Jenn over there was great to deal with. Their pricing is great from the start. Everything went as planned and they even picked me up at the Denver airport. Since you live there, it would be a no brainer. Check their pricing on the website - typically invoice.
