Default Clutch brands 2006 2.5i

I have a 2006 Impreza 2.5i. Recently, my clutch makes a screeching noise when engaged. I asked a friend of mine, who's a mechanic at a Suburu dealership, and he said it's the throwback bearing. He recommends that, I get a whole clutch kit. I went online and found several. I don't have much money, and he suggested the brand "Sachs". Also, he suggested this website, for it's for actual Suburu owners. He thought I might be able to get some names of other brands that would work on here. I found a Sach's clutch, but it's out of stock at every site that I've searched. Can somebody please suggest some brands? This really couldn't have happened at a worse time; I've been eating cans of beans and tuna- So, I have some money to fix my car. I drive for work, and this is setting me back. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Of course, I want the best clutch money can buy, but it's just not a luxury I can afford right now. Thank you.

There is a review section that has a lot more info, but take a look at Exedy, they have a lot of different options.

You can get an exedy clutch for like $125 on ebay. You would have to get an 04-05 rs flywheel though as your current flywheel is a dual mass flywheel. You shouldn't resurface a dual mass just better to get another one.

How much money do you have? And how many miles on the car? Might just have to get the throwout bearing which is like $40 or so for one.

Thanks for the suggestion. I was able to find a Sachs brand church on pays parts geek.com, for 173. I hope that fixes the problem. Two hundred dollars is all I had left. My car has 81k.
