Where can I buy parts in PSM?
Does anyone know if there are online sites that sell paint matched subaru parts? i've found a bunch of unpainted parts and a lot of dealers that don't even let you browse a catalog...

I don't know if you are interested in painting yourself but Grimmspeed sells PSM paint.

yes I would be...but I need to know that the paint matches. I can get PSM mixed in a rattle can at my local NAPA. the match is good but you can still tell the difference. Anyone have any experience with Grimmspeed PSM? |

the vast majority of parts do not come painted.
Don't go to napa....go to a real body shop....I had a pint of PSM mixed up at Wesco for $60, matched perfectly....paint code 01g. |

Thanks for the bit of advise. did you have to use a clear top coat? or did you just primer and spray? |

I disagree as well - if you paint an entire panel its close, but if you paint and area of a panel its obvious. Also different clears cane affect how it looks in sunlight.
I like GRimmspeed, but its not perfect. When the body shop painted my STI hoodscoop it was perfect. |

i don't really know what all goes into painting a car. I would just get what ever color parts and spray the outside another color. I just don't know how much it would be and thought that some one who has done this would have a better idea.

again...it really depends on how much needs to be done on YOUR car. Basic single stage re-sprays can be as little as $1500. Full blown single-stage show quality paint work can be $10k+. |

for used parts that work, yea- check your local pull-a-part or whatever. In terms of NEW parts, thats a loooong shot. |
