What's up with dealers?
I thought everyone was just being pissy until my recent dealership experience. I won't name any names, but I work at a non-subaru dealership and know how stuff works. My car sat on there lot all week and I picked it up friday without it having been fixed!

It went in for a nasty hesitation between 2400 and 3000 RPM. This is the third time! At least this time they decided to throw a part at it. Except the part that was promised to installed within 2 days still isn't there. I work in parts (no, not there) and I know how service blames everything on them. Hopefully the car will just get fixed this week.

Oh yeah, they waited for the o2 sensor UPS. It didn't come UPS, so they figured it was shipped by truck. Essentially they had no idea what was going on. You think they'd make they effort to track the part since the car has been doing this since only a few thousand mies!

Yeah! My parts are finally in! It took 3 unsuccessfull calls to service, so then I called parts and he said they were in and service new that. Gee, service hasn't called me to make an appointment yet............

Nooooooooo! Well, the new windows are in my car, but the o2 sensor that was ordered to cure my hesitation was apparently wrong, therefore it was not replaced. As I left the lot with my car it hesitated, just like it has since almost new! The tech was very reasonable and said he changed the voltage of something, but it sure didn't help.
Has anyone here dealt with the Subaru customer service reps? I do not find it acceptable that my car has been doing this for 30k miles now. Help! |
