"The Shop" First Tuning Sesion With The New STI. Baselines INSIDE
We took delivery of our new STI on monday and with only about 16 miles we already had it baselined . The car baselined at 228 whp and 230tq. Not that impressive but it didnt stay that way for long. First thing we did was installed our new 2008 STI UTEC DELTA and hit the dyno again. With no other modifications but the tune and utec the car mad a huge leap in power. With 291whp and 328wtq just by tuning alone . We then added our own custom made down pipe, removed the factory snorkle on the airbox, switched out the plugs for 1 step colder, and added a forge resirc valve and made 316.4whp and 390wtq.
Oh it seems somebody made a video for us so here it is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGkjCDKTzog Last edited by Ctracer911; 02-08-2008 at 08:42 AM. |

thanks for the comments guys. Yea i have to post up some pics and our dyno videos. We are planning on taking it to the track soon. We have been changing something everyday since we got it. Just trying to get some production stuff made for it. Intake, full exhaust next. OH FYI when you take the factory intake box off there is a hugeeee i mean HUGE hole there to put anytype of crazy intake in. The size of the intake box is the size of the hole so i dont think there is going to be any diff between a cold air or a short ram.

Not yet but when jimmys porsche goes on there we should see that number pretty easy. The flat screen makes it so easy for junior to tune. He can sit inside close the windows avoid all noises and smells and still be able to see his a/f , boost and power output.
