Hey guys, I just got my horns and I need some re-assurance with the things I have ..

Is this all I need for an install? Excluding crimper and strippers .. the one that remove wires not clothes!

16-14 Gauge Bullet Terminal Male/Female
ATO Fuseholder
20AMP Fuse
Heat Shrink
14 Gauge Wire

Give a look at this thread to compare supplies needed:

You'll want to get some female quick disconnect crimp on connectors. The connection terminals on the back of the hella's and on the relay they use have male quick disconnect terminals. And i would also advise getting one male quick disconnect to plug into one of your stock horn connectors so you don't have to splice the wire.

you might want to get a multi-meter. to make sure you are grounded out properly and as well as having the right amount of current.

Agreed with the female quick connects and also some ring connecters for the ground and battery

also a zip tie to mount the relay

I took a look at the that thread and thats pretty much how you want to set it up

I also made some y-connectors pre install and soldered them and heat shrinked them which made my install go quickly!

safedrives is the vendor
occasionally you can find them used
they are 118 dB horns (ie frikkin loud!)

I would recommend putting a switch in there too so you can switch between the stock horn and supertones. you know, so when you toot at a friend you aren't making him go deaf, just the ass in the SUV who tries to sideswipe you last night

Some Dielectric Grease for the terminals is also a good idea.

Baaaah! Making your friends go deaf is funny. As far as the zip tie idea above, I used the hole already in th relay and mounted it on my battery tie down stud.

Can anyone give me a certain size, nut/washers/bolts, that'll work for the 06 radiator on the sides?

They really arent that loud. Much louder and more manly than the stock horns, but I expected them to like break windows I guess. I also got them because they look tight.

Also, I bolted the relay behind the grey plastic part behind the right section of grill (if you can figure out wtf Im talking about). Fit perfect and completely protects it from rain.

Thats funny, some SUV yesterday was being really gay. Alright I was just sitting at a stoplight and some SUV comes up behind me and just stands the thing up with her brakes. Luckily I left an entire car length in front of me to the old lady in the caddy. So I moved up and this dang car inched up on me for a lot of the car length. They then started to inch right as they saw the light went green. They forgot about the old lady. I almost rearended the old lady by trying to avoid the dang SUV, stoplight after stoplight. God, I need some supertones. Does it affect the temperature of the motor? Two supertones that is.

On an 06/07, they are partly covered by one of the grill frame parts. Im sure they decrease the radiator cooling ability a little, but Ive never had problems and I havent heard of anybody else having problems either.

Here's min installed didn't like them both being in the middle like everyone else so heres what I did.

Had to remove this piece from each side. All I can see that its for is to make the front a little more clean because it hides 2 bolts on each side. (might help direct air slightly). To remove them there are 3 screws on the top of each piece and then there is a clip on the bottom. Once you get them apart just put the screws back in because thats what holds your outer trim piece on.

After removing them you will find a bolt on each side that is holding part of the radiator (i think) you can't miss them because the are in the exact same place on either side.
