Default Any advantage to a protune AP Stage II? Anyone sharing protune maps??

Im running Helix UP/DP with a stromung dual tip catback. Currently I'm running AP stage II right off the shelf.

Couple questions. With this setup what kind of gains, if any could you get from a protune.

Second, is there anyone out there sharing protune maps? Anyone have one that I could try with my setup?

Just wondering...

I am not sure you can share protuned maps, I may be wrong though.

Either way using someone elses protuned map on your car is a bad idea. Stock cars can perform different from each other, then when you start modding they become even more different. Same mods doesnt equal same tuning. OTS maps are very conservative which is why they can be used by everyone. Custom maps are car specific, so using one not made for you your car may run fine, may lose performance, or may have you purchasing a new engine.

I would not risk that for the possible 10-20 hp from a custom tune on Stage II.

Would you guys say that cobb stage II runs closer to lean? My issue is I pulled my plugs at 55K and they were rather white... I was running a txs short ram and for part of the time a TXS RFL BOV..

I have the money for an AP but not for EGT and airfuel gauages and a decent boost gauge... what would you recommend I do... If stage II is safe enough and I keep and eye on my temps and oil levels think I should give it a go... I have the factory boost gauge.

No, most people would say that the Cobb OTS maps run rich. Your BOV and SR made it run lean .

imho, those are the worst first mods you can do. i have the AP and love it. unless you are tuning it yourself, i.e. street tuner, then you don't need to worry about egt's, etc. the OTS maps are conservative to protect your car. the stock air intake flows plenty of air unless you plan on putting down 350+whp, iirc.
