I did not realize AMR made a bigger hot side...that would give it more pull up top correct?? Going to look into this...

Does not exist. The only aftermarket product is the expensive AMR turbine housing. Just so no one gets confused the P20 housing will not fit RHF55 turbos only RH5B and RHF5HB turbos.

Another option for RHF55 turbos is to go twin scroll. The VF37 TS housing works with these turbos. You have to get the wastegate actuator and the exhaust as well but it's an effective setup.

But on the other hand there is only so much capacity in a VFXX no matter what you do to it. If you want big power you have to go bigger turbo.

Sweet , I'll end that search immediately lol ...

I was looking for something smaller than the 10.5cm hotside .... But something bigger than my 7cm ....
I was hoping for a Port n Polish service , along with 6stars billet compressor wheel and a bigger hotside .... I'm looking for 320-330 HP ...
I'm currently at 300whp pro tune ... But if I'm putting in that much work I might as well just go 20G then -_-

Please don't bash, I'm barely dipping my feet into turbos lol

Sorry I won't be installing this till after winter when I take my wifes 94 impreza and install my motor and a six speed. Then I will install her 2.1 with the vf48 in my car for her.

In that case sounds like turbo upgrade to even a 16g or 18g would be the better option. I have seen some good gains from other people on the Evo 16g over the vf52. Then again the vf52 has been proven to be a great turbo. Very interested in the results on this. To bad it's going to be a while until he installs it

I'll prolly have my vf52 ported and polished with billet wheel soon... Waiting on tax season

I don't wanna upgrade my vf52 cause I feel I haven't pushed it enough to max it out.... Especially with stock internals ...
I'm currently at 300/320 HP/tq and my motor and turbo feel strong ...

I'm currently 303whp and I feel a though I can get another 20 or more with a few more bolt ons and better fuel or possibly meth. I'm on sh***** 91 gas. And don't want to upgrade turbo unless i can afford a new motor rebuild and possible tranny work. Takin it slow for now

If not this could help some people who are trying to be more competitive in stock turbo classes like asp.

Crap, I just blew my 20g. It looks like I will have to run the vf48 with the billet wheel.
