xdrian- ur car was nasty. that gives me hope for my vf34. ur gears help alot. my suggestion is with suspension, looked like ur car was lifting hard when u launch causing ur front wheels to spin ALOT!

overall i think the day sucked, WAY too hot and humid.
Thanks, Yeah i know about my suspension lol, I had coilovers until the gas shocks seaized up on me. Just gotta wait for the money. Im happy someone other than myself noticed me try to fly off the ground And I actually wanted to spin at first cause i didnt want any broken axels or diffs

I think 12.0 for stock appearing from the White Sti with green wheels. I was so ready to break 11s though. (Still mad at my shifter )

That yellow Supra pulled in about the same I did. It looked sweet as hell but didn't get a chance to check him out on the strip. I had some fun with my 2.5i autocrossing tho. Even got to meet some pretty cool people too...not a bad day other than the fact that it was sweltering hot. Props to Clin10 for being the only other 2.5i and to whoever was driving the red RS. N/A luv!

Hey guys - thanks to everyone who came down for what was a really enjoyable event.

Special thanks to Raceway Park and all the event sponsors - it was a really well run event and I had a blast.

In Subaru and Evo stock appearing turbo - George from ICS made it to the final with his 07 STI Stage II plus meth - he ran great and consistant all day and I was suprized to see him mkake it that far with a car with under 300 miles ! We lost with a 12.4 @ 107 to a 12.2 @ 109 evo.

On the heads up all out class - once again a SUBARU won ! Sadly, I mis shifted from 3rd to 1st on my first pass and destroyed my gear box and apparently motor in the process. Even though my car was a wonded warrior I limped my way through to the FINAL by beating Javier Oretga's 10 second Evo in the semi final. Once I was out ahead after a super long ass burn out show I put on witgh my soon to blow up car I was not lifting without the win and the trip to my second final at this event.

Sadly, it was not my day as after the miss shift the rod bearing was junk and soon the rod exited the block.

All in all it was a great day and it was great to find ICS in both finals and also to see the Subarus kick ass and win again !

Come on now. Lets not be silly. Obviouisly a 968 whp car which I am trying to push to the limit is a different proposition than a tune on a customer's street car.

I am far from pissed about my motor - when you miss shifts it puts big time stress on parts and this is all part of racing. I am happy that I did not crash when it let loose at 145 mph and also really over joyed to get in the final and win my runner up throphy which means a lot to me.

I will put another motor in this week and repair the trans and I will be back out next week - its a non event and just part of dragging a car with a lot of power.

i have to give it to Fizz motorsports they had some really hot looking cars.
my friend's yellow evo representing full-race.
it was a good day. but agian upset with the preformances out of the subies.
it is so much easier to get 400-500whp out of an evo.

Wow, that really makes me not happy about missing my elimination round. I was trying to run the autox, and the drag race, and managed to miss the first round of eliminations as they started early. (not 2 pm like the schedule said) Oh well, live and learn. Anyone know what the quickest time for time trials was for this class. I ran a 12.04 at 113, but never found out where I actually qualified for the eliminations.

Saw some nice rides today as well as some familiar faces. I didn't get a chance to bring the Subie down to run but my brother ran his EVO and did quite well. I kept hearing about that guy taking pics of the plates/vins... shady stuff.

It sucked big time to hear that Al's car blew up since that thing is an animal but I almost pissed myself laughing when the commentator said "there seems to be a mushroom cloud over the finish line" haha Atleast he has a positive attitude and will be right back racing next week.

The weather sooo hot/humid and there were more Subies/EVOs in the spectators lot than were running! lol

Did anyone else see the black BMW 135i with euro plates parked at the kart track??? I wanted to go snap a few pics of it but it was gone by the time I remembered. I'm really considering getting one if they're as good as the reviews.

I sincerely hope that this is just a rumor and gossip. Did you see the guy with your own eyes - or did you "hear" this from someone else? I have heard this kind of rumors at various events in the past but I never heard any evidence to back it up.

If there is ANY truth to this it would really come as a major disappointment and let down to me about Subaru as I think that is a very sneaky and underhanded way to do things.

Lets hope its just more internet BS.

A few people pointed the guy out to me, and I heard that someone was going to talk to him and ask to see the photos on his camera. But he would snap a few shots, and disappear. I definitely saw him take a few pics of other people's license plates. Does he work for Subaru, I have no idea. Who knows what he was really doing. Did anyone actually talk to him?

I have heard of this happening before with Subarus, though. Not sure what track it was at though.

yea man, nice meetin' ya! I was amazed. my fastest time was 41 seconds in a 2.5i with ONLY an axleback and AirHog drop-in filter. and a stock 04 WRX ran a 39 seconds run, so that was good for my car. I also had hella fun drifting in that AutoX. but once these crappy RE92's got hot, I started understeering the whole time

Today was my first event like this of any kind. I just got my 02 WRX last week, and it felt great to participate (as a spectator for now :-)) with this community. The people are cool, cars are awesome and it's nice to acknowledge others passing by.

Hope to see you guys at some meet and greets around the area!

stiizy --> Thanks for showing me the way, we'll chill sometime.

Question -- What does this 'sneaky' photographer guy actually report, if that's the case?

Or it was a car theif that was getting plate # to get people's address to steal cars......blue painters tape FTW!! I did the auto-x and cover my plate with it at every event I go to. If it was someone at Subaru. just being in the pit doesn't guarantee that you were racing your car. They would have to show me a video of me racing my car for them to void my warranty
