Went down to see Bren This afternoon. He did a little touch up and got 305whp/360wtq. Couldn't be happier

BrenTuning FTW!

Sweet. That's fairly low boost and good numbers for stage 2. Where was it dyno'd? Any idea what a stock vf52 WRX puts down on that dyno?

They are a great shop. They worked on my rx7 as well as my last WRX when there were things I didn't feel like doing.

+2 for dave being a cool dude. I fired the adjusting screw out of a greddy bov and happened to be right near esp. Within 10 minutes of pulling in sounding like a kazoo, he retapped a new adjusting screw for me and reset it to the propper tension; on the house

now that i'm not typing on my phone- i'd also like to chime in that Kevin who works at ESP is a great guy and very knowledgeable. i've known him since preschool and i grew up skateboarding and playing hockey with him. he's really good with cars and some of you may have seen his neon tearing it up at the track this year. that monster was built in spare time at ESP.

Thanks for the help guys. I talked to Dave about a week ago through email, just talking services and numbers. Most likely going to take a trip out there after Christmas when all the goodies come in. Just wanted to read some feed back before I let someone wrench on my car lol

Kevin,
Stock vf52 wrx makes around 280-290hp/290-310tq I think on that dyno. Give or take. Stock, the 2011-13 make great power. Just adding the dp doesn't hurt, but its not as much of a necessity as older wrx/stis.

This to me sounds fishy... that would put bhp at 310-320 stock..

251 whp, which seems ridiculously high to me as well

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2071237

223 whp more believable

I suppose when you compare that the wrx with a vf52 beats an sti to 60mph.. im just thinking the dyno might read a little on the high side. Still good numbers though.

I'm only going by what I've heard/seen. Totally depends on the dyno. Lmao
