I ain't seen no one until I saw yall at the meet. I see other subies from time to time but none of yall. BTW I got my safety course done today and got my tan coveralls and green hard hat and my assignment. I start on the 26th at the Air Liquide plant on Up River between Nav and Corn Products. Its only gonna last 2 weeks but I can move to another one right afterwards. Oh and they have me at 16 per hour 70 hours a week. I won't find out if Del Mar is closing down for Ike until tomorrow around 5 before I go in. They actually have me down as a helper (h1) (laborer) and not a welders helper (hmc). Welders helpers are at 19 per hour so I'm losing out on about an extra $200 a week but I will go in tomorrow after calling them to see if I can take the hmc test and also find out about getting my TWIC card which is required to get onto the premises of a refinery. Even at $16 per hour I will still have a take home of $l,000+ while working 70hours a week (7 10's).

I'm up for a beach party Friday night if I don't have school. We could do it Thursday night for those that plan to evacuate.

We are gonna stick it out. If it looks like its going to be a cat4 and going to hit within 150 miles of us you will get to see what my tail lights look like.
