Default 05 wrx stock alarm is not working. Diagnosis?

Hello Nasioc-ers. Happy New Year.

My stock alarm has been inactive since last week. Remote keyless entry works, however I am not getting any flashes when I lock and unlock the car.

-I've switched between valet mode and out of it a bunch of times to no effect. It seems like the alarm is acting consistently by not flashing except when I do the triple lock thing to get it to chirp.

-The security light in the dash pod has been blinking constantly regardless of being locked or unlocked.

-Furthermore, I've tried to get the alarm to go off in a myriad of different ways (such as locking myself in and then trying to start up the car w/out disarming the alarm that is currently not acting like it's being armed.) Usually, the car can't be started and the horns go off. Instead, I'm able to get in/out and start as if I had manually locked the doors w/out the alarm.

-I hope it's just a fuse, however I have no idea where the fuse for the alarm is (after looking at the fuse boxes on the driver's side interior area and engine bay..and reading the owner's manual). Anyone familiar w/ the location for the 04-05wrx alarm fuse (if there is one)???

Hope it's clear enough for everyone who can help....and I did search, but it was giving me nuttin.

Once again safe and happy holidays for everyone out there.

-Thanks for the help.

Ok I got it! Open drivers side door and with door open push and hold I believe lock button on the key fob for 6 sec. This will take your car back out of valet mode. Hope it helps!!
