Moved to south dfw area in September. Currently work at best buy but looking for something more. Have BA IN film as well as several years of welding exp. along with event and theatrical rigging. I'll be attempting to return to school at UTA this fall for mech. Engineering. If anyone knows of any internships or jobs where a hard working problem solver like me could gain paid employment ill send a resume. I also have several credits on films and television that I worked on. I can send an imdb link if you're interested.

Thanks in advance.

Testing waters:

I'm currently serving in the army down at Fort hood as a logistical supply specialist. I've been in my job field for 6 years now and am coming up on my ETS date In November. I've been overseas twice, with a tour in Afghanistan and Korea. I am looking to transfer over into the civilian world. Preferably, I'd like to stay in my job field and stick with what I know, but I know I have to have keep an open mind.

I know the army will help me in my transfer to the civilian world, but I'm branching out a little and putting my name out there! If anyone sees this, or knows a friend of a friend and could point me in a good direction that would be great!

Also, being a police officer has been a dream of mine since I was a kid. Just throwing that out there! Thank you for reading!

Looks like I'll be out of work here soon. Our company contract is up in February (official transition in May), and it appears as though I won't be coming back. Even if the company provides an offer for the new contract, it looks as though it would be coming with a 20% pay cut. I've been out here for 12+ years and I'm already about as lowly paid as possible; a 20% cut would leave me better off working at McDonalds (seriously).

Anyway, if anyone knows of anything out there, please let me know.

I have 12+ years working at NASA as a Project Engineer, Test Engineer, Subsystem Manager, and have developed areas of expertise everywhere in between. Have a Bachelors degree, tons of experience, and a strong work ethic towards companies who appreciate their employees.

Very much a quick learner, self starter, and I work very well individually and excel in team atmospheres. We have a kid on the way and I'm looking to make a move to better their future.

Help a brother out!

NDeX in Addison needs a network engineer... You have to know what youre doing with tons of experience. Cisco unified experience is a major plus right now. I cant promise anything, we have a guy starting Monday but from what I hear, management doesnt like him, hes just a place holder for now.

I would contact http://www.systemoneservices.com/ to inquire, thats who we use for contract and contract to perm positions. Because this is a very unique group, we usually require a 6 month contract to see how you fit in.

So I desperately need something part time, evening and weekends. I don't care if its sweeping a shop or filling/sorting/entering data and papers. I'm in Bedford willing to go anywhere in the ft worth,HEB, Arlington, Grand Prairie areas. Pretty much 30-45 minutes from Bedford. Clean record and I'll pass a drug test(know that's brownie points for some people).
Only 1 partially visible tattoo, I can cover with a long sleeve shirt or a loose t-shirt. One facial piercing that I can remove if necessary and a beard that I will get rid of if required.

NO COMMISSION ONLY JOBS!!!

Available hours are from about
5:30pm-10:30 pm Monday-Thursday.
5:30-whenever Friday
Anytime in Saturdays
Anytime-10:30pm Sundays.

I am open to a full time position but it has to top my current position, if you have anything like this we can discuss the opportunity. For this if the employer is willing to work around a college schedule so I can go back to school that is a major plus.

You can get ahold of me on here but my cell is the best way 817-805-0932.

Use your GI Bill for living expenses. It allowed me to turn my attention to study and my family without the time constraints associated with a having part time job and a full time student.

What were your allowances here in tx?

The other issue is my current job doesn't leave hardly any time for school. Which I why I haven't already gone back. I'm only about 2 semesters from my bachelors.

As for now, I need something to make rent because I just took a big hit, the GI bill will take weeks to take effect then I have to get everything lined out with college and I definitely can't afford to miss work.

See if the college offers the courses online. My wife went fulltime online and fulltime job. Made things alot easier, however your only getting a percentage of the cola.

And being a veteran, they have other programs and assistance available If you have any sort of a disability rating.
