Default Stock WRX vs Stock Touring 350z

My friend has had his 350z a month now and we just now got around to racing eachother. I pulled him by like 2 cars in the beginning and then he caught up at the end and we tied. It was dead even. We didnt go again cause other people were racing. i was pretty happy though that I did so well against him cause I have been having trouble with bogging my car down. I will update if we race again wich will problably be soon.

Glad to hear. If you want to post street race stories try

It complements a 'power brag' post to append a list of your current mods, any mods known of the competition or either/both of your stock state.

Happy hunting...

I havent been on the board in a while nice to see you guys treating all the new guys with so much respect. I guess it cool to start a thread about " im going to race who ever" but not " I did race .....". lighten up.

IBL

my friend has a track edition and we made a run awhile back. I put about a car and a half on him till about 100, then he put about a car and a half on me. after my muffler comes in, I should edge him by about 1 to 2 cars. overall, I was pretty un-impressed by it's performance to $ ratio. although it is a UBER sweet looking car.

Uh, could we maybe GET a "kills" forum then? Maybe this forum would be a bit more popular if people were a little less anal about such things (not to say you personally are--you may have simply been warning about the mods)

Everyone should be kicked off for;
1) exceeding the speed limit,
2) for wreckless acceleration,
3) and especially for racing at a track unless it is an unlicensed/uninsured off-road vehicle---> insurance fraud. Insurance fraud raises my auto insurance rates.

4) posting in the wrong forum ... where are the definitions, again?

5) Eveyone that is using a radar detector in VA & Wash., DC,

6) Everyone that has modified their car that violates Federal DOT exhaust emissions.

7) And, everyone that knows about any of the above and knows someone that has/is doing same and not reporting said offense to the appropriate authorities ... should be given a thorough scoulding and kicked off and reported for not reporting.

Or, is this simply the right to free speech?

Kudos to you BTW

Sounds like bragging... involves power ....

Who are all these people being so anal? Democrats? Isn't that the political party associated with laws to protect ourselves from ourselves? Oh, oh, I'm off topic ... and that is not PC either. But, then I'm not the 1st in this thread am I?

"Free Speech" does not mean that you can say whatever you want, whenever you want to, to whomever you like, wherever you want. Did you guys even pay attention in school?

almost as long as it does not cause clear and present danger and is not in violation of any county ordinances against cursing in public area and as long at your speech is not directed at a group or a person then its some what free

This is not a kills forum.....SO WHAT!
This is about the power between a stock WRX and a stock 350, not so much the race

and if it was about street racing, that is why we mod our cars, or buy a fast one to start with. All of us secretly or openly want to pull up next to some one, anyone, and see them looking and reving and looking to the lights. It is fun! ya maybe it is dangerous and ya it does kill, but your going to die anyway, may as well do it having fun

Yeah, I bought my WRX so I could rev my engine at stoplights like every guy in a Ford Probe does, that is exactly why.
