Just come by and say hello at the Subaru dealer and we can talk about options if you like. Also Clark Turner is scheduled to be here in the december again for in person tuning.

Haven't heard anything bad about his tunes from anyone who's had them, and there were a lot of guys on 3GWRX (now WRXForums I believe) who had his tunes and no problems.

What kind of setup you going for? If you're going for a stage 2 setup, I have some parts that are up for sale that will get you there. I'll post a link when I get the FS thread made (Invidia catted DP, Cobb short ram intake, GrimmSpeed EBCS (BNIB), Cobb AccessPro, Spearco TMIC, Prosport oil temp and wideband A/F gauges Tomioka throttle body hose, STi swaybars (rear IIRC), may have more to add later.
I have run Eric's maps for over a year. Started with his stage 1 and now running his stage 3. His service for the price can't be beat. Very smooth maps making good power. I know in the past I have emailed him datalogs and gotten replies at all times of the night. I really don't think the man sleeps. When I eventually go e85 protune I will way my options, but may stay with him. Cj has also used his maps on his 08 and was running his 3.52 map.

I can vouch for the torqued performance maps from Eric. I've ran his stage 2, 2.52 (08 w/ VF52) and his 3.52 maps. Zero issues and all online support that you need for tweaking the maps. Plus at $85 per map (includes 8 separate maps for 8 different intake setups) it's a pretty good deal.

He has them for Cobb AP or opensource

Tuners are like shoes. My perfect fit won't fit you right necessarily. I think we can all agree on this though. Talk to a few different tuners you are considering. Check out their history and customer reviews. Speak with them about your goals and their expectations. Any tuner that tells you he can take your care to the absolute limits safely, just turn around and walk away. A good tuner and enthusiast will know that somewhere between 80-85% is a safe place, or at least as safe as it gets, for a max power tune.

If anyone disagrees with anything I just said please voice it I would love to have a good honest no mud slinging discussion on this. Like I said before Cam will be doing all my tuning while I am in the area. As soon as I find this darn boost leak. Abel you maky be getting a visit.

How's the weather been in El Paso? I'll be home in 2 weeks. Will it be ok to drive on my summer tires still?

The accessport is a good tool but the off the shelf maps aren't ideal for every car. A custom tune is the only way to make sure it's safe. This can be done with or without the accessport.
