Default Car in Charles...

So i'm sitting at home taking a dump. TMI i know. But it goes along nicely with the rest of the story. So i'm sitting there reading time magazine and i hear sirens, well living in the city my whole like, that mine as well be birds chirping. I never pay attention. Well i'm sitting there and it's starting to distract me from my article, so i'm like wtf? That's a lot, maybe i should go check it out, and sure enough, more and more... then i hear the helos, i know something is up.

I get me sh\t together , literally, and get my gear, head out the door, try to see where the helo is. Over the charles... great, no parking even if there is something, i get halfway down JFK street and see firetrucks over the MIT bridge. I park at HBS and get out, run over, and see divers in the water, in the background i see a lady being taken into an ambulance with a blanket over her. I head down to the scene and here's what i got;

To make a long story short, i call the usual suspects when i get back, WHDH says they'll take em, i send them over 3 samples, he told me which ones he wanted first, i send them, we negotiate a price, and bammo off i go. Meanwhile i'm processing the other pics, i get an email back, he's going with another photographers pics, wtf.... i try to broker them around, and everyone else had them too. Unless i had ones of the lady being taken out, nobody wanted them. Shiezer! Shiezer i tell you!

So first off, i was the first photographer there, there were camera crews taking video but nobody with an SLR, so i'm like sweet.. but no dice. Oh well, still interesting to try it out.

Black Pilot hits Saab from behind, Saab stays on road, like any car should, somefrigginhow the Pilot goes right over and into the water, i'm guessing they swerved the airbag was deployed.

Recent examples have included photographing industrial plants, bridges, buildings, trains, and bus stations. For the most part, attempts to restrict photography are based on misguided fears about the supposed dangers that unrestricted photography presents to society.

Ironically, unrestricted photography by private citizens has played an integral role in protecting the freedom, security, and well-being of all Americans. Photography in the United States has an established history of contributing to improvements in civil rights, curbing abusive child labor practices, and providing important information to crime investigators. Photography has not contributed to a decline in public safety or economic vitality in the United States. When people think back on the acts of domestic terrorism that have occurred over the last twenty years, none have depended on or even involved photography. Restrictions on photography would not have prevented any of these acts. Furthermore, the increase in people carrying small digital and cell phone cameras has resulted in the prevention of crimes and the apprehension of criminals.

As the flyer states, there are not very many legal restrictions on what can be photographed when in public view. Most attempts at restricting photography are done by lower-level security and law enforcement officials acting way beyond their authority. Note that neither the Patriot Act nor the Homeland Security Act have any provisions that restrict photography. Similarly, some businesses have a history of abusing the rights of photographers under the guise of protecting their trade secrets. These claims are almost always meritless because entities are required to keep trade secrets from public view if they want to protect them.

The driver of the SUV appears to have had some type of seizure behind the wheel, Murphy said. Im, of Arlington, was disorientated when he was pulled from the SUV and was wearing something that alerted rescuers that he had a medical condition that made him prone to seizures.
Why in the hell is he allowed to drive a vehicle?

Because in today's society, no one is REALLY "handicapped", if I could even dare speak such a horrible word. Everyone wants to pretend like they weren't and were as capable as everyone else, which is quite natural I think. But it's not reality, and this is the result

Carfax will probably say slight flood damage.

That Saab looks like it got hit by a trolley.
