Colleen wants a high res version of the picture of me sitting at the registration table with my tongue sticking out for no reason at all... WTF?!?

She thinks the dude at the table was "tasty" and apparently I was checking him out?

I'll get her the extra large version so she can crop out the other guy and use it for your next birthday. She can use the rest of the photo as her bedroom door poster.

Yup, knew it was coming. Now that the show is over, I'm not useful and am back to being treated like a moron. Not surprised, just pissed. As they say "The road to hell is paved with good intentions." Screw 'em next year. I put in all the work, knowing I won't get any sales out of it, and then get treated like crap. 11 yrs of this. WTF am I doing wasting my life here?!!! Neonmabob, I feel your pain.

I go active on Friday. Need to do something that doesn't make me feel like crap every day.

can someone recommend me an independent shop/mechanic in madison, wi of which you know or have experience with to get my 60K service done? i was $725 from the don miller. ouch!

and i tried the search function to no avail. additionally, i'm not mechanically inclined aside from basics like oil, etc so i can't do it alone.

TIA.

Gabe will do anything for money.

send a private message to GLwagon with what you need done and I'm sure he will quote you a decent price. You'd have to travel to Baraboo though.

Hey Shannon, I TOTALLY appreciate everything you did for the meet. Erin and I had a great time and you did a great job putting it all together. I had even mentioned to her that maybe we should drive up there to buy a new Legacy from you. Our dealer here is lame. She'll probably be getting one in August or early September. You were almost to nice! Thanks for letting us take Sr.'s car again with John, he was so helpful and we both learned a lot from him. I have no idea why there weren't more people from sf.org at the meet. I would have posted about it a lot more, but I honestly thought there'd be at least a dozen or so Foresters there.

Hey, what happened to your Flicker photos? There's only 16 on there now. Just when I got a chance to sit down and look at them all and they're gone.

Oh, also, you should get at least one other sale out of the whole thing. There was a couple there looking at my Foz and the other white one and I totally sold them on getting a new one and trading in their CRV! I even said that's what I did and it was the best decision I've ever made!

Where are you going?

Oh, by the way. There's no way that guy drove all the way from Little Rock Arkansas just to be at the meet. Seriously.

bathtime ... bah, how else did I manage to get 3rd place Down and Dirty...? by not washing my car for over a year and a half...

I suppose convincing Matt and Jess to vote for me helped as well.

Where are you going?
You know, I'm still wondering about the guy who won. I know I've talked to him a few times before. He's from around here, but I do know he is stationed on an AF base somewhere. We had talked about it because my dad was in SAC in Guam. He seemed a little hesitant when picking up the trophy, though.

Photos are still showing. There's just 11 pages of them. There should be more though. Around 300 of them were uploaded.

I'm glad you got to meet John Lamonte. He really is as nice as he seems. If the couple was in a black CRV, they just bought from another guy here. If you need anything at all, just let me know.

I don't know where I'm going, but it's time to get out of the business. I may try gvt work. Glad you had fun!!

D'oh, sorry, now I saw all the pics, thanks.
It's sad to hear that you're not going to have a 5th annual Madison Subaru meet. It's not a bad drive to get to Madison from here. It's better scenery and the roads in Wisconsin don't suck! They must spend a fortune on the roads there because down here in IL it's pothole-hell and there's always construction that never seems to improve anything.
I don't know if that couple had a "black" CRV but they were younger, he had a WRX he told me and she drove the CRV. She was really cute and my wife even said she smelled really good too! I guess I should have told them to go to you.
Good luck in whatever you do. You and your wife are good people.
Oh yeah, I'm not mad about that guy getting the award for being the furthest. I'm sure he is stationed in AR, but he probably lives/lived or had family in the area. Hell, his driver's license said Fitchburg!
J/K!

hey im in the process of pulling the engine to do my clutch and some other maintence, with one of them being a compression test. if im looking at the engine from the front of the car what is the best way to get the bolt out from the rh rear (cyl 3 i believe?)? that and after doing some looking same for the drivers side but both of them?

when i put my wrench in there with the swivel it wants to twist and then it wants to round the bolt off and in which i dont want to do that obviously.

thanks josh
