I'm cleaning mine now, using Goo Gone. It is eating plastic, if "You keep it on it too long. Also noticed some cracks on badge... Must be caused by Goo Gone too. I didn't put any pressure on it...

I'm still working on my badge, Goo Gone had messed up front of my badge. I sanded it with 600, 800, 1000 sandpaper, than used Maguires Plasti-X to polish it, good as new, even better. I'll post pictures when done. Tomorrow I guess

So there You go!

Can I get some opinions please.
Regardless bad quality picture, and cracked badge...
How's color combo?

My car is PSM, and I will take better pic's when I'll install it on car. If it looks good, I'll probably get new badge, and redo it without cracks...
Cracks came from excess Goo Gone plus pushing toothpick into corners of stars...

Mario

I need better pictures for sure

Wow! The black and red badge would look sick on my red 99 impreza wagon. Love how you painted your wheels as well!

Mostasz: Looks good on the car. It was hard to make a decision before it was mounted. My spare one cracked like that too. The acetone and other chemicals in goof off and nail polish remover attacks the plastic causing it to fracture due to internal stresses present from the original molding.

im in the process of painting mine right now as im typing this and my badge cracked as well=[ but i cant decide to do silver/red or black/red on my PSM MY05. im gunna print them both out and tape it to my car to see what they would look like.. ohh and mastasz if you put some red pin stripping around your grill it would really bring out the front of your car!

it works for the front badge. be careful not to crack it.

but i just pulled the back badge off, and from the back, i can't see the plastic badge part. i don't know if the plastic part is glued to the chrome peice or what. here is the back of what i pulled off my car:

sorry its tiny as hell
does anyone know how to get access to the painted part of the badge on the 08/09?
