Default Need a midpipe for Stromung SS dual tip axleback...

What diameter? 2.25" or 2.5"? Will only the 2.25" match up with the axle back? and is a 2.5" just dumb? I just want more power and to not get the decibles too loud. More grumbles are fine But I would like better flow.

Right now I am only running the
-SS axle back
-Cobb CAI

I am thinking of having one fabricated (as opposed to off the shelf) as this seems like a popular trend. So I would just like to know what to tell whoever is doing the fabricating when I go in. Are mid pipes simply a pipe with two flanges?

Resonators? Diameters? Decibles? Help!

And I searched like a mo fo.

Is bigger than yours.

I'd go with 2.25 until you start going mad with NA modifications or a turbo. My current setup I've got borla headers, stock cat pipe, brospeed mid pipe (no resonators), and brospeed axle back. It's not loud at all. A bit more than stock, but not annoying at all. I'd like a little more noise (which will hopefully come with the high-flow cat) but I digress.

Some muffler shops will (if you're not careful) just cut the flanges off the other pipes and weld up a mid-pipe. Major bummer when it comes to doing any work on the exhaust as you'll have to cut it to remove it.
