Default Rallye de Paris

The second largest Paris in the world is hosting a performance rally next Saturday, Nov. 26. For details, see www.rallyengr.com and it's not too late to enter even.

Actually, Rally New York who sanction under the NASA banner are working towards a WRC event. So any of you who live in the NE, go see what you can do to make this happen.

According to mapsonus.com, it is only 868.4 miles. Take I35 south to Kansas City. Pick up US 71 south on the loop around KC and go down to I44. Take I44 west to US69 at the Big Cabin exit. By the way, you get to drive under the world's largest McDonalds unless you chose to stop and go in. Take US69/75 south to the Indian Nations Turnpike near McAleaster. Take the turnpike south to Hugo where you pick up US271 just 20 miles north of Paris. This is a good route, one that I have driven many, many times. And if you go past Camp Maxey early enough Friday afternoon, stop in and say hi. We will be setting up the roads from about noon to 4 or 5.
Richard
PS: This is still closer for you than the 1200 miles from Sachse to Bemidji.
