Either way, you need knuckle/hubs, rotors, calipers, pads, hardware, and lines.

I am still in the process of doing this. Just haven't found a set of knuckles/hubs.

Default Muffler Delete

I tried it...unbolting the muffler from the pipe...sounded ok...deep and loud...but would only keep it if I had a manual. With an A/T...sounds silly IMO.

I have 4EAT and it still sounds awesome.. Sport mode helps a lot too. You're gonna need a lot more work done than removing the muffler for it to sound really good.

They aren't necessarily bad. A lot of people will argue they actually brake better then discs. They last damn near forever and they are cheap. The problem is they don't look that good and they don't dissipate heat as well. So during heavy driving they start to lose performance as they get hotter.

A lot of cars use a front disc/ rear drum setup.
Bugs me too, as I would rather just pay the difference for discs.

I converted my 08 to discs a few years ago. Got most of the parts from eBay but there are a few parts that only Subaru has, well at least back when I did it anyway. From what I can remember the back plate, the parking break cables, and I think it's like 3 small pieces inside the parking break that I had to buy directly from Subaru.

Maybe should have been a little more specific, knuckles and hubs are the same! The backplate between the knuckle and hub is different as well as all international for the parking brake including the parking brake cables. The parts I listed above where the only parts I had to go to Subaru for. The rest I got from eBay or local parts shops. Just a note, breaking the hub from the knuckle was a b***h and I did it when the car was only a little over a year old. Total cost for all parts and a whole set of discs and pads cost me around $600.

Never understood the point of a license plate relocation if you didn't need the added airflow to where a FMIC might go.

No plates look the best. However MN law requires front plates so off to the side looks the best to me.

I'm happy I moved to a state that doesn't require a front plate. Now I just need to make a sweet plate delete to cover those hideous holes

Rather not have to deal with it and just play it safe.

Yep, I've heard that a lot. But this is definitely a "do at your own risk". Don't think that just because you've personally never had a problem, that you're invincible, nor should you be suggesting it's safe to run without a front plate even when it's required.

It's required in Ohio, and I got a $75 ticket the first time I was stopped for it. It took about a week after I removed the front plate to get pulled over for doing so. Would have rather spent $75 on a plate relocation kit .

Lapping day pics

Don't worry, the body roll issues with the stock suspension is going to be addressed very soon. I have found a way to make 11-14 STI suspension work on my car (with the right combination of WRX suspension parts as well). So thats going to be in soon enough I can't wait for my spring rates to be 251lbs front and 297lbs rear with better shocks
