Not sure on steering wheel either. I asked Moore about an alignment, they pointed me in that direction.
They asked me what I was looking for in terms of types of driving and did the work.
Wheel was dead on from what I can recall... it is a little off now. But, it has been over a year and I did swap steering wheels.
You can position the steering wheel wherever you want by disconnecting the shaft at the joint between the steering rack and firewall and rotating it to where you like...if you didn't know that already.

Congrats on the new baby, nothing like the getting a new healthy little person and Mom being safe too.

I get a kick out of rookie parents though and all the precautions they take. I got 3 now, and watching my in-laws have them right behind us. I handed my 9 month old nephew a chesse curl yesterday LOL, oh the response i got from his mother!

Yeah, when I say it is a little off... I mean a tiny amount. The only reason I even notice is I have a D shaped wheel.

It is well within my tolerance levels

Got a question for you all. How much do stock STi wheels off a '11 sell for? Slight curb rash and a few nicks in the paint here and there. Looking into buying Enkei T6Ss but want to know how much I can get for my wheels first.

I think blast plates is a poor name for them, reminds me of the bell housing straps on drag cars, made for containment not so much for prevention

I think the name is pretty good!

Speaking of names, do you think you'd still dub your car "timebomb" if you didn't self tune it?

i wouldnt self tune it if anyone else would, actually i probably would. timebomb was its nickname when i was running 25psi on a 200k mile ej22e block

but if you find a tuner that can tune a 98 forester with a blow through wrx maf, 850cc injectors, e85 with a piggyback on stock 97 legacy ecu and still pass PA emisions, send me the contact.

I am from Pittsburgh and met the MOORE guys at a show at the Convention Center like 4 years ago, good guys. MOORE seems to be the best option for us here in PGH. Educated about there product and that means the world in this scene.

Nice motivation thread! I wouldn't be able to get the quarter video in time most likely, but was already considering the plates.

I pulled the engine and tranny from this wrecked 07 wrx. Its a limited so it has a good set of 4/2 pot red brakes if anyone is interested. It has alot of good parts on it. I may use all the interior to swap in to my 04.

The rear suspension is good, front axles, rear driveshaft and diff etc. Bumper, tails, spoiler, all glass is good.

Just pm me if you need stock parts

i'd love some 4/2 pots but really need some bigger injectors first. I've had 06 rear hubs/spindles with rotors in my garage for the swap for like a year now

Do you use top feeds? I have a set of 02-05 wrx injectors that I can cut the tops off of for cheap.
