I like the wheels it's just the tires that are too small. There Nankangs. I've never ran them before but they came with the wheels and were brand new so why not.

I need someone to help me that has tools and knowledge. I really want to do the koni inserts to compliment my springs. I'm not really happy with my setup for daily driving :/ feels like something is missing and I think it is the damping. If anyone can help, ill bring the beer and in n out!

Its not hard at all, You have to get the strut off the car. You will probably need a 10 mm socket to do the top three, then a 19mm to do the top two the hold it to the hub. If im correct, Their is a 10 or a 12mm nut on the bottom. After that it should slide right out. Its pretty much the same on the rears. FYI, you are going to need to have a spring compresser. the socket numbers might be off by a little, But this is me going off my head at work.

It's not a hard job to pull the struts out. I put on my coilovers myself and its a pretty straight forward job. Going to need an alignment though since the struts use camber bolts

I believe he needs to set it to 1.5 neg. There are tick marks on the struts, so he can do it right there.

are you guys forgetting that he wants Koni inserts or am I missing something here?

if i remember correctly, he needs to drill out a hole and saw off something for the fronts. he's gonna need more than basic hand tools for that...

I didn't know that. Seems like a pain. Why not buy something that actually fits the car?

I believe koni makes a shock that will fit, and if not koni will do it. So..... its just like a regular shock.

because its cheaper to buy the KONI inserts vs a set of coilovers.

he is talking about the INSERTS. you have to use the shock body as a housing for the inserts in the front. the only other options are (for GE/GH/GR):

1) Coilovers
2) GT Worx Bilsteins
3) Feal Inserts (same as Koni)

Would you guys be down to do some karting at K1 in Torrance Wednesday? Maybe meet up a little early and grab a beer then hit up a couple races?

Aw man! We'd love to have you there! As far as details for k1 go I think we should all meet up around 630-7. Pricing is $20 a race but I usually do the 3 races for $45 deal. It makes more sense obviously.
