Astroshine? Anyone using it?
My VW/Audi guy SWEARS by this stuff called Astroshine (maybe Astrosheen?). Never heard of it, never looked for it, never seen it. But he wont shut up about it. Just curious if anyone had used it (on OBP maybe)?
Let me know. Thanks, Nate

....research and get the name right and/or provide some links and maybe some of us can provide some input.
In either case, if I had a dime for everyone who has pitched a "wonder product" to me I'd have a tidy sum. They usually turn out to be nothing special to write home about when you consider the myriad of other products available that are either comparable or better. Ask him specifically why this stuff is better than others that are available. Usually when someone gets this excited about a product they typically have limited experience with others. ....that's not to say it's bad but just suggesting to keep things in perspective. I'll wager you'll get the "tried them all" claim when you ask. |

He gave the whole schpiel about why its better. (Easy to apply, lasts longer than most products, great for DD's) etc. etc. And this guy has been in the auto repair and maintenance business for 30 some years. He also shows cars. So he's pretty experienced with different products. As for links or other info, I'm having trouble finding anything on it! That's why I'm asking here! Haha thanks for the input though.

I've been using Afrosheen since 76. It keeps my locks looking fresh.

Everyone is going to have their own preference when it comes to detailing supplies. I found its best just to go out and try some on my own.
So far on people's recommendations I've tried: Zymol meguiars Cleaner, gold class p21S einzett none of their waxes/polishes were that different from one another in my opinion. |
