Thanks...

Yes those are turn signals.. the front ones in the bumper and the ones on the sides are so that you can run headlights without turn signals... Like the WRC ones that use the turn signal area as an actual air intake.

More good stuff just arrived... First to correct the little bit of rubbing that I have in the rear:

And then the new H9 6K HID bulbs for my Hella Modules...

Default Dyno Day

Well today was Dyno Day at Neetronics... What a great turnout and lots of local vendor support and attendance from Group A, Joe from First Force, Touge Tuning, VK Innovation among others.

Crazy amount of cars and a great group of people.. Here is a quick shot of most of the cars stretching all the way to the back:

So it was time to pop the Batmobile up on the rollers to get an idea of where I am starting from before the build... I showed up just before noon and ended up with my name last on the list Which was okay because it meant I could stick around and talk to those I know and also meet new people.

We had a couple of issues with the car. One was that I knew that I had a boost leak. Derek from Group-A was quick to track it down to the gasket between my BOV flange and the BOV itself.. lots of air rushing out of there. In the dyno vid link below you can hear it squealing like a stuck pig. Made a big difference when we got that fixed with a new gasket.

The second was that I knew I had a CEL for a low voltage on the front O2 sensor. I knew it would have an effect but as you can see from the Dyno chart below, and in the video, the car was constantly correcting itself, pulling timing and trying to figure out what the heck was going on. What a roller coaster looking curve!!!

New O2 sensor should smooth that out for me. Also at the very end, Andy at Neetronics started to ease off her a bit because it was really starting to run lean from that damn sensor.

Overall not bad numbers for a regular 16G, Pinks, WRX heads and STi Shortblock.

First the video:

And the Dyno chart:

And I snapped a couple more pics of the car since I don't have hardly any with the fog covers on there:

The post that it was in describes why it is all choppy.... CEL for a bad, bad, bad front 02 sensor... the details are in the post

those mirrors don't suit the quality of your car. you need some of the square WRC shaped ones.

everything else is amazing!

Hey man if you want I have a front 02 sensor that was used for only a couple hundred miles of break in. Its yours for $75 shipped/paypal'd if you still need one. Ill DHL it tomorrow. Anyway congrats on baseline, good 16g numbers all things considered.

Oh and quick question, did you use your stock 205 intake manifold w/ stock body tgv deletes and top feed injectors or did you switch to a side feed style manifold/tgv housing? Thanks!

For the numbers above it is stock everything (intake manifold, TGV's)... What is on the way from Grimmspeed is a ported 205 intake manifold, ported TGV deletes and it will be staying with the top feed injectors..

Thats awesome man keeping it simple/cheap + effective. Im headed down a similar route in the distante future but maybe with a 207 block, still have a lot of research (and fund building) to do.

A big THANK YOU goes out to 2fast4u616 for hooking me up with that O2 sensor so quickly.. it will likely be going into the car this weekend.

That should get rid of all of that nasty up and down on the dyno chart

Love this car. The only thing I would do different would be to get XD-9's in 18x10 +23 (38 w/15mm spacer) with or if you were sticking to CR Kais, I'd do the 18x9.5 +20 to get the deep concave face.

Still, probably in my top ten for bugeyes.

Thanks for the compliments

Unless things have changed.. I believe both of those rims are 5x114.3 not 5x100... that is where the delema came in for rims.. finding something in a 5x100
