Guy that posted them pulled them. Supposedly SoA canned him for posting them.

So is the brand new engine the same one that is used in the new Forester, or the old one just updated?

New, more comfortable seat fabric, and a new light matte wood grain trim provide a sophisticated appearance. The Outback Limited models for 2013 offer a new Special Appearance Package option that provides a Keyless Access & Start system along with a two-position memory system for the already-standard 10-way power driver's seat. With the Keyless Access & Start system, the driver, while carrying the remote control in a pocket or purse, can unlock the car by touching the door handle button. The rear gate also has an unlock touch sensor.
I wonder if the US market is getting this and which models it will come in? |

The GT was a neat car, but didn't really sell in very significant numbers. It's too bad. |

The car was never marketed properly. Subaru needs to pay the car magazines to do a Legacy GT vs 335xi vs S4 comparisons. It will lose them all overall, but it would get the word out that there is another option for a lot less.
At the very least, they need to get comparisons of all the new turbo-4's. LGT, A4, 328xi, Regal GS, etc etc etc. |

It finally has a great distinctive look and they only powertrain I would entertain is gone! I will admit though that the 3.6R may be worth a test drive. However, I just had the WONDERfUL experience of driving a brand spanking new 2012(2013?) 335i sedan. WOW. What a car. |

LED DRLs?
LED DRL's - no mention of it. So, I assume the "boomerang" is just a styling cue on Legacy/Outback headlights?

At minimum they should have made a unique aggressive fascia, brembos, significantly stiffer suspension, faster steering ratio, and a standard short shifter. Then you would have a car that people might actually be interesting in buying without the expense of putting the STi drivetrain in. Which I still think they should have done. There is a bigger market for a poor man's S4/M5 than there is for a oddly pieced together family sedan. I'm sure they were trying to save money but they really just flushed all the GT development money down the toilet. I have no doubt that car wasn't profitable after development and certification cost. I'm sure the new 335i is awesome, probably even the 328i but I hate the eyebrow headlights. |

Pretty much what JC said.
I've honestly always considered getting a GT, but they never quite tuned it correctly. Now that they've remedied most of the issues across the line, they discontinue it... I'm sorely disappointed. I think the GT had a LOT of potential and would have been excellent as a 2013 with the new front fascia and tweaked suspension (less body roll? Heck yeah!). Oh well. Subaru is weird. "Let's make the GT an Order Only item and not make it specific to the crowd that might want it anyways." They were 75% there! I'll just get a used 2012 down the road. |

It is an existing, still current engine that is not being replaced. FA/FB are replacing EJ only. H4 replacing H4. H6 is not being replaced. |

When the 2011/2012 Legacy GT became factory-order only, when it was previously VERY difficult to find in-stock, I knew the time was getting closer. The time has happened, the Legacy GT is gone. It is sad, but it is not at all surprising. Forester XT is a shadow of what it should be, anyway, and I wouldn't be surprised if it is on borrowed time, as well, as the EJ Turbo gets phased out trailing the EJ atmospheric engines being put to bed now. Whether that means a revamped FXT FA/FB based turbo engine in the future, or an EZ-based engine in the future, I don't know. The next WRX and WRX STI had better be damn good, because they stand as the last option for Subaru AWD performance. |

The "boomerang" in the headlights does a nice job breaking up the overly large scale of the headlights, and also connects the car's shoulder line to the wings in the grille.
Nice to see the keyless access & start finally make it into the options list for the Outback. Hopefully it's available on the Legacy, too. And it looks like Subaru addressed the problem with the roof rack by allowing the crossmembers to slide farther apart for longer items. Good to see that corrected. |

I am probably in for a Legacy base model when these come out. I like my 2012 Impreza, however its a bit small and my car was one of the first ones produced and ti having some teething pains
