I actually like how the WRX wing flows with the OEM 3 piece rear lip kit.
I might repaint it before slapping it on, if not just a clay bar and wax lol

I can dig it by Genghis Chon, on Flickr

As do I. I picked up a 3 piece last summer, now I'm not sure if I want to paint the center bit PSM to match the car.....

IMO keep the original color. I think when people paint them its a bit too much color matching parts, but ive seen some people pull it off pretty well.

That was my original thought, but it looks like the spats just dead-end and there's nothing in the middle, especially on a silver car.

It's a little more obviously there against you're white car.

yeah i see what your saying. I also was going to do buy one of those HKS Replica rear diffusers and install that in place of the mid section.

At least then it would be functional. That OEM piece makes a giant mess of the under car aerodynamics!

I think I'm gonna plasti-dip it then paint over that, just to see if I like it. That is if IT EVER STOPS SNOWING!! Got another 14in last night! F me!

The bugeye is itching to stretch its legs and the chevelle is due for a 6mpg ride around town! :-)

yeah, i think Chan Lee (pwrfap) pasti dip'd his rear bumper, not sure if he still has it on there, but it makes the Voltex diffuser stand out more. And yes, the OEM "diffuser" just adds more drag lmao.
I dont think i would ever survive out in snowy parts of the US lol

This is what I've done. The sti interior was too much for me. And picks up dirt like crazy. Traded a friends 05 black interior and never looking back. Had to order the newer style tweeter to make the trim pieces fit in. New switches since the panels are cut different, and I need to get the handle brackets since the bugeye ones didn't work

No, it's not sold. My JDM V9 STi motor spun a bearing. She's sitting nice and clean in my garage with an empty engine bay right now.

Well at least you will get it back sooner or later. I was wondering why you would ever let go of such a clean car.

It funny seeing pics of these cars stock. When I see one on the road, which is very rare the first thing that comes to mind is how ugly the stock wheels are and no one cared at all when this car came out.

Disagree 100% with this

When WRX's came out in 2002 they were the "it" car. Even moreso than the STI in 2004. Random people would come up to you in parking lots and tell you how awesome your completely stock WRX was. At least that was my experience

Car of the year in most magazine/publications, and nary a bad review (except the headlights ). All WRX owners would waive to each other, even if completely stock (except hater GC owners )

It was good times

I miss those days. The days before the flat-billers, stretched tires and calling everyone bro.

I know, I sound like an old man.
