I work there in the body shop and I didn't want them to scratch it while unwrapping it and washing it. So I gave her her first bath by hand they'd never had that request before hehe

I just bought 2 yards of Alcantara from JPM and did it all at home with 1 can of Super#90 glue and a pack of single-edge razor blades.

About to pull the plug on these two items TOTAL comes out to $252.00

For this price...it better shift and switch to Sport Sharp by itself.

Yeah I might look into getting a set. I live in Connecticut and DD up and down i95. It is constantly under construction - which beats the hell out of my car lol.

Naaa, it's not bad at all. Alcantara is extremely tough material, stain resistant and cleans off with a vacuum like carpet.
I just bought the material and did it all myself. I'm working piece by piece but just about to do the dash next!!!
Looks good, just noticed some scratches on that piece that goes across the dash above the glove box, was thinking of wraping that in alcantra. I can't stand looking at it, I think i might have done it with my book bag.

well...i used to think that [i] was great for mpg's but now that the car is tuned with an ewg etc etc...anyhting but [S#] feels broken. i get the same mpg's in [S#] as i do in [i]. its all about how much throttle you give it. all that that does is kill your throttle response. it doesn't change maps, it doesn't do anything but remap the throttle since we have are drive by wire...yes you run less boost in [s] than in [s#] but thats because you're limited in throttle...

had no classes, did this today.

sprayed STi on the tmic, wrapped it in gold heat tape, and sprayed the rear y-pipe with engine enamel.
hopefully this lowers the temps.

gold ceramic coated heat shield and some gold on the tmic.

and EVERY badge of ownership hidden under the hood

Not sure what the charge will be. I got mine for cost of all the materials since it was a prototype.

They were custom powder coated by the previous owner. I dont have a a clue what the color would be called. They are a metallic graphite color.
