Open after the downpipe... sweet.

It's all downhill from here. Suspension, steering gear, and it's done! Well, driveable.

Haha thanks. I'm having it tuned this week with stock boost (boooo) just to give it a few weeks for everything to settle in. I need to recheck a few things too. Then if everything stays cool I'll start increasing the boost little by little... probably end up around 22-25 psi.

Well I got everything put together and a rough tune on it at Turbo XS. I've been driving it for the past few days, exhaust leak and all, trying to get a bunch of little things buttoned up. The idle got a lot worse over the last few days and it began stalling at idle. Today it started hesitating like it was pulling fuel with barely any throttle and it stumbled and stalled when any load was put on the motor. It sits in a parking lot half a mile from my house. Hopefully Andrewtech can take a peek at it this week since it is my only car

Suppose it comes with the territory though.

Just got to thinking... one of my IC hoses might have popped off. I'm using nice T clamps but I had to hack the Y pipe up a lot and there are twice as many joints in there as stock. I kinda remember symptoms like that when a pipe after the MAF separated from the rest of the intake tract on the RS.

Time to troubleshoot!

Good luck Andy. It seems like a great project. Although, I thought you didn't want to go with something turbocharged... what happened to that idea?

-this was way back when you had the white RS.

Heh plans changed... I've always wanted an EJ22T and I finally had a chance to get one.

I sold the 08 Legacy to my mom's boyfriend.

So the IC hoses were OK, I'm kinda stumped. There was a decent coating of oil in the intercooler inlet from the PCV system, but the intercooler outlet was clean. I have no idea what's up. Time for Andrewtech!
