I heard good things about the FR-S/BRZ variant of this. The big win here is the preprogrammed DSP.

If I owned a leased vehicle this is a good kit... Otherwise, its pretty much what the car *should* have come with, stock.

Your going to want to wait, trust me. I do aftermarket car audio for a living and there is no alpine product that sounds as good as this does.

you are telling me that this system is better than the H701 or H800? I highly doubt it.

Well let's give this a go. We have more processing in our amp then both of those processors you are talking about there. The difference being you can control their processor. Now here is where I will agree partially with you. If you want to spend many many many thousands of dollars on some really nice good product, let's says from maybe Audison or hertz, maybe even morel or dynaudio, you can build a more complex and better sounding system. Once again the kit we designed comes in at roughly 1100 and is 100 percent plug and play. We have taken all the guess work of installing, running of wires, fabrication of the enclosure and tuning of the car out of the equation. Sent from my iPhone using NASIOC |

i had this one in the FRS, and even i cant beleive they can do this without changing the stock speakers.
have they played around with using the kicker speaker upgrades for the doors i wonder ? wonder if its worth the 189 xtra to change the door speakers ahead of time ----? cant wait to hear or see this . I am sick of the stock setup. |

No we have not and do not plan on it for the future. I have heard the kicker speakers by them selves and it's so tinny it's crazy. I actually just turned the radio off at that point in my test drive.

As far as the door speakers what do you guys recommend as far a high quality replacement? I'm no audiophile but I enjoy a quality tuned system. I don't want a tinny or crap sound. |

They are expecting to do pre-orders sometime next month. There is a running of their wire harness between the amps in the passenger seat and to the radio, also a cord to the sub woofer and two wires to the battery. With this system it is tuned to the original door speakers. Any other speaker installed would throw off the tuning that they have done. Sent from my iPhone using NASIOC |

I wonder what that would sound with the Subaru tweeter/Kicker upgrade now. I wish I can borrow some to try it out or just buy them and see if its worth the 90 dollars . idk |
