We shall see, send me an email/PM and let's see about your car.
What REALLY helps, and this goes for all of you, is to send me nice big, well-shot photos and a story already written. Find the most hot-**** photag in your aread, check your region's forum for instance, and see who has the best shots. Get them to shoot your car, most guys who like these cars will do a shoot just for kicks and maybe coffee and/or beer. Beer is a universal currency among car nuts.

Ok, that is enough free advice. But really, help me, help you and help yourself and find a local photographer.

ps. I like the car... find a photographer.

So... what you're saying is... I should find a ...photographer?

Kidding. Sometime in the next couple months I'll get some nicer shots taken. Considering I work for/with SRT USA's photographer it shouldn't be much of a problem. Thanks for getting back to me. I'll let you know when I have something.

BBC,

If you need help with the article let me know. I could probably whip it out quick like. Oh, and hit up mumbles for photos. His photog skills are getting pretty good with the new camera. Lastly, find out from the mag some basic article specs. Number of words, key items of interest etc. For example, are they interested in an article about a gay asian boy and his Outback? or would they prefer something more technical detailing the swap?

Edit: just chatted with Mumbles. He's on board if you're on board.

Chris H.

then why do the people at SubieSport have a job?
You want us to take the pics AND write the story? hahaha.. pointless to me.
We get more exposure posting pics of the car here than in that mag any day.

thanks... some people like being in print, it has more gravitas.

And we outsource to freelancers, just like every other magazine in the world. Besides, it's fun to get the community involved wouldn't you say? And not everyone goes to Nasioc...

I dunno, I'd love to have my car in a magazine.

Anyone can post up on a forum.

This mag is a joke I would not want my car in this mag even if they payed me. After the last couple issues. Subie Sport is a joke.

You need to paint the calipers black or silver. It would then be the perfect sleeper.

That car is awesome. It defines "sleeper". Sweet car. I am kind of suprised a full sti swap fit. Way to go dude. Thats the subie spirit.

To the fools who said subiesport sucks.....you suck. It is a great magazine that is still building itself. Locally published and features people and cars I know. Don't like it, don't subscribe. Just don't bash for no reason.

To be honest Bob...I'm insanely jealous. I have a 97 L wagon that I want to do the same to. But I lack the know-how, let alone the time. How much did ESC charge for the transplant?
