Default strange ticket questions...

So i got pulled down in san bernidino county while visiting family...

CHP was coming toward me as I "ran out of merge lane" and hit some dirt that sprang up.....so he flipped around and pulled me over.

I got a ticket for
Pass on Right Safely

21755. (a) The driver of a ( )1 vehicle may overtake and pass another vehicle upon the right only under conditions permitting ( )2 that movement in safety. In no event shall ( )2 that movement be made by driving off the paved or maintraveled portion of the roadway.

and no front plate, and cracked windshield.

On my ticket the front plate and cracked windshield were checked correctable, the passing on the right safely was obviously checked "no" for correctable.

So I got my bail notice in the mail. it shows the 3 charges and then says $25 for each correction. No other fines are mentioned. So the most obvious question that comes to my mind is, what If I get the plate and windshield fixed and find a cool cop to sign off on the back of my ticket for all 3, send in the ticket plus $75? Is it possible I will get off for $75?

What would you do?

If you dont bother to read my OP or dont understand it dont post.

I would pay the fine if it was sent to me...but how it was sent was only correctable violations!

Let me spell it out for you.

Quote:
I got a ticket for XXX offense, what should I do? If you follow the advice of someone with the same offense, in the same state, in the same court, with the same judge, this still does not guarantee the same results. Show up to court on time, dress conservatively, logically plea your case, take any state approved driver improvement courses prior to the court date, and it never hurts to hire an inexpensive traffic attorney.

Also, put your front plate on, suck it up, pay the fine.
