Looking for turbo kit for 2001 RScoupe?
I have been looking for a turbo kit that will run about 300hp and be reliable at the same time. Does anyone know of any good turbos where I can find them and about how much?
thanks

You wont find anything reliable at 300hp.
Rallispec offers the best quality kit out there IMHO. http://www.rallispec.com/index.html Do a search to find out more. |

I know 300hp isn't reliable but maybe something around 280hp. could you get a turbo like that and make it reliable? I am all new to this kind of stuff.

bsquare,
Shiv has a great set up, but you must remember he has ALOT of upgrades from stock setup that were not necessarily included in his turbo kit. Thats how it became MORE reliable. RS22b, Some things to consider that although it is relatively easy to bang out HP with a turbo. You must upgrade your tranny, clutch,ECU, fuel pump, and monitor it all at such a high hp level. With further investments, your ride can become more reliable. Ultimately, even a greatly tuned turbo charged engine will suffer a 10% diminished life span. (according to Corky Bell). So make sure you do your homework before you turbo. |

Shiv would likely disagree on the 300hp not being reliable. He just dynod at 260hp to the wheels, which is certainly over 300hp at the crank. He can comment further, but I believe this is his daily driver.
