PITA head bolts! Took a snug socket and hammered the hell out of the bolts before taking breaker bar to them.

Anyone know of a good place to get heads machined? Haven't tested for low/high spots yet but just in case.

I would doubt it as the installers are supposedly required to be trained by darton to install them to their tolerances, but I'm not sure how long that would actually take, so perhaps.

Have you considered AEBS? This was the route I was going to go back in the day. Plus from what I've read they seem to have a lot less negative feedback than Darton.

It is clear that I have much research to do. Thanks for the heads up on that company.

That being said, I got some progress pictures.

This is for the "Beat to Hell L". A new rear body panel for the resurrection process. It's got that OEM freshness!

Then this is from the Legacy SS

Here I am replacing the locked up automatic seatbelt from last week. The replacement works better than it ever has.

But today I just paid for these from a guy in Canada land. He's shipped them out today too. I'm looking forward to getting rid of the automatic belts. It's a small thing, but you can't believe how much it affects you when they're not working.

After replacing the seatbelt I felt like working some more, so I replaced the 1-speed intermittent wiper stalk with one out of a 99 LGT Limited, and now I have a selectable variable-speed intermittent stalk. Another small mod, that adds to the creature comforts in the cabin.

Before:

After:

Still feeling the mod bug, I hung out with my buddy northpolerex and we got the stock end links swapped out for some poly-bushing whiteline solid endlinks. I don't notice a thing different with them, but they look blingy, and that's what counts... right?

Rotoform makes some sweet boxes! High end cardboard, not that knock off cardboard from eBay.

Haha I honestly meant to post the actual wheel. I was sending a set to my brother, and I guess that's the last link that copied.

Give me a few minutes.

I just like this picture:

And then full wheel:

They will be a different color in about 3 weeks ;D
