Default Hey new here but not to the wrx, an old clubwrx member

Just wanted to introduce myself since I am new here. I have a 2004 PSM Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon with an 05' STI hood on it, rally armor mudflaps and the silencer deleter done. Tactrix and sti drop-in filter are on the way so I can do stage 1. I used to be on clubwrx all the time but they kept banning me for no reason and I got sick of trying to argue with them they are being unreasonable. HOpe I have better luck here. THey always talk smack about NASIOC but I never see anything wrong with the info or people over here at all from what I have read as I lurched around the past few months.

no in general I had no problems at the club and I was friendly with many people there but I posted one pic of a vageye and I got banned, came back and was there for another 2 months no incidents and no problems as soon as someone asked about what happened to the guy who posted the pic cause everyone found it funny and not offensive, I piped up about it and got banned again out of nowhere. Pretty ridiculous since I know most of the regulars there pretty well. ADmin there sucks.

well thanks for seeing my side of it, seemed like a harmless enough pic. On another note I did just recieve my tactrix cable and man it came fast!!! Just waiting on the sti drop-in air filter and then I am flashing to stage 1, can't wait to see the difference.

FYI an air filter is within the learning curve of the ECU

no need to use a specific air filter for said map.

yes I know but the filter now is getting pretty dirty and I want to just throw in the new one, flash it, then reset the ecu and do the fast learn trick and see what we get.

oh ok. also, never a fan of tricking the ECU into false learning. the dynamic part of the ECU is there for a reason, so that it can adjust itself accordingly to your mods/gas type.

Just did, it took me a minute but...

Clubwrx is pretty cool, but even posting something like that is questionable.

well I just flashed my wagon to stage 1 painlessly and took it for a 15 minute "learning" drive. First impressions, much smoother throttle response and the power is a bit better down low so it isn't as laggy when hitting the gas pedal and it is around 2000. I took a couple wot runs after it learned a bit and man is there definitely a difference. I am very impressed and I am sure it will get better even over the next few days at the ecu learns more. Open SOurce flashing FTW!!!! can't wait to start logging and getting used to tuning when need be. BUt for a base map I cannot complain at all, the wrx should have came this way stock.
