When I had my 03 WRX a guy decided to tell me about my car. I was curious what he knew so I let him go on. Apparently I had the 2.5L...because only the STIs have the 2.0L engine in them. I insisted that I had a 2.0L, but he didn't buy it.

Poor guy got confused by the relationship between the wrx/wrx sti and the relationship between base impreza/wrx.

Had a female friend ask me if my bugeye was a diesel.. I replied negative, she said well I like the way it sounds. I'll take it considering she is a truck girl.

I'm a marine and this marine buddy of mine always insists that his truck is faster and better than my 08 sti hatch, he says its impossible for me to pull his truck in neutral. I simply let it go, I'm not trying to burn up my clutch to prove him wrong lol

That's a pretty good response from a truck girl

Not really anything funny but I was getting gas last night and some guy came over and asked me what was modded in my car. I just told him that it had an intake and an exhaust for now and that I wasn't really planning on doing a big build as of now. Just little things. He claimed he had an 06 sti that was having a $15,000 built motor put in it somewhere. Not that I don't believe him but I mean anyone can say they have a ferrari in the garage.

Tonight while driving my sister in law home in my wife's Honda fit, we spot an awesome 05 STi lowered with black wheels on the freeway. "Hey, Annie, do you like that?" I ask. She replies, in her valley girl voice, "No! It's ugly and only dorky Asians drive them!"

This is coming from a single, ford focus driving racist. ***3232;_***3232;

Someone asked what motor I had. I told him a JDM WRX motor. He told me I was an idiot because JDM was a company in japan and they don't sell motors.

I was at the gas station saturday night, I came outside with my bag 'o chips and some civic guy was eyeing up my wrx.

He told me that subaru inflates their horsepower claims to the tune of 40%, and that my 265bhp wrx is really only about 160 at the wheels. And also that I don't need to fill with premium at the pump.

I just said, "maybe, but they threw in the all weather mats, such a deal!" and left.

A co-worker while at training said my car reminds her of a rice burning rocket ship from Fast and Furious. 2013 STi, wingless, but stock otherwise.

She drives a G37 S coupe with 20" chrome wheels..
