Got a smokin' rate with Progressive in Phoenix area...
In case anyone was interested you guys should look at Progressive for insurance if you haven't already. My rate with State Farm has been going threw the roof lately, and I almost passed out when they told me what the rate would be for my '05 STI.
I called around to alot of different companies like All State, Met Life, and smaller ones too and personally talked to reps. Progressive was 20% lower than anyone else and almost 40% lower that State Farm, even with my recent not-at-fault total of my '04 WRX. Anyway, everyone should look around because there are lower rates to be had.. Later! MF

This is also my experience with Progressive and State Farm... I had State Farm until I bought my '04 WRX, then switched to Progressive. It was about 40% cheaper!!! If you have good credit, Progressive has some killer rates...

Around 2 years ago I switched from USAA to progressive and saved $600 per year. Then I had a fender bender and progressive jumped up more then the $600 I saved, so I went back to USAA. I'm happy with USAA now.

Yeah it has to do with having a large plan. The insurance is still under my parents until I turn 21 in 5 months so then it should go down when I can have my own. I have the highest dollar amount of coverage. It goes to a million dollars I think, something really high. They didn't want to take the chance of getting sued for all they are worth. I wanted an STI and they wanted 470 a month for insurance. That is why I have a wrx. There was a kid in my old town younger than me with a new m3 that paid 20 less per month and he was younger than me. Also a dude in my class paid 300 a month with a 2002 E55 AMG. Going to school and getting a B average will help 1/4 of the cost. I try so hard not to drink and drive too. It will pay off I'm just gonna ghost ride her off a cliff drunk so I get my moneyz worth. Life is killing me. Time to win the lotto.
