Default Whats mods to get a WRX to burn a 11 sec 1/4 miles time?

I don't care if its low 11s, mid 11's, high 11's. I just want to get into 11's with my REX yet keep it DAILY DRIVEABLE! Can you say 11? Thats the magic number, 11, not 12, 11 is the magic number. I think 10's are a little much for a daily driveable car, but hey, it'd be nice too if it can be done.

See everyone here is scared of the 11's so you can be the first...

get a 150 shot of Naaaawwwss, and do some 6500rpm clutch dumps, and you'll be in the 11's in no time.....

..or you could do a little searching, and a little reading..

turbo back exhaust
big turbo
catless uppipe
front mount intercooler
intake
header
colder plugs
and a 50 shot of naawwws and some good driving should do it

maybe some weight reduction would help too

though there may be cars capable of 11s out there, i dont think there have been any verified 11sec runs in north america yet.

as for how to build one, krave has the basic idea. build a 12sec car (which has been done by quite a few here) and add a 50 shot of nos and you should be in the 11s.

If you go to the link, im sure those guys could tell you exactly what is needed. Though they havent dargged it yet, the power they are making is more then plenty to run at least high 11's.

No! No, no, not 12! I said 11. Nobody's comin' up with 12's. Who runs 12 second 1/4's?? You won't even get your heart goin, not even a mouse on a wheel.
11's the key number here. Think about it. 11, man, that's the number.11 chipmunks twirlin' on a branch, eatin' lots of sunflowers on my uncle's ranch. You know that old children's tale from the sea. It's like you're dreamin' about Gorgonzola cheese when it's clearly Brie time, baby. Step into my office.

I'm shooting for 11s too. I just got into the 12s with stock turbo and fuel system. I'm upgrading to a VF30 turbo this week, and will be adding STI injectors and fuel pump.

Then depending on how the spark plugs look, I'll either be doing a fuel rail upgrade or putting it off slightly. Most likely will do this first.

Add N20 (nitrous) to the mix and I'm thinking that these additions will give me the almightly 11s.

If you're shooting for 11's then the VF30 will be a WOFTAM.

I thought I answered same question over on wrxforum.com. 11's are no problem if you have ENOUGH money. Take a $25K WRX and drop another $25K into it. Start by pull entire drive unit and replace most of it. You can't get where you want to go by parts, pieces, and little-now, little-later upgrades. Do really wany 11s and have the resources? Maybe 12s are good. Most of us pretty happy with 13s.

can't you people help this poor guy? clearly, he lives his life a 1/4 mile at a time, and he can't be bothered with petty setbacks like money. he needs a 10 (or in the case, 11) second car, and he needs it NOW.

everything i know about cars comes from the fast and the furious, so it takes more than a big engine to go fast. if you hit the nawwwws oo fast, granny shift, or don't tighen the floorboard access panel on the passenger side, you are in trouble. also, watch out from johnny tran and his gang.

one more thing, no matter how fast and furious you are, with your 11 second daily driver, there is someone faster.

" you never had me. you never had your car."

seriously, though. it's not mentioned on this forum a lot, but speed comes at a price. when you start putting double/triple plate clutches, you are going to hate it in heavy traffic, lightened flywheel...you can't engine brake as well, and everytime you drive to drive normally, your car will accelerate so much faster than everyone else's POS, and you are just going to get frustrated. i guess it's different in a rural area, but where i live, its no fun. maybe i just need a second car.
